Thing you should know before enter into vidyasagar college

Fees and Financial Aid:

Yearwise fees is arpund 6515 for first year bsc but for other degrees like B.A the fees per year is less • the division i don't know because i am in 1st year • my batchmates have same fees but for some that can be different based on which subject they choose • they can help u to get vivekananda scholarship and others

Fees for our course in our college is very much affordable and worth the investment too. The college also have merits for different kinds scholarship present nowadays just Swami Vivekananda merit-cum-means Scholarship.

Vidyasagar college is a well-knowned college of kolkata fir persuing bsc degree. The faculties for bsc chemistry are very much well and professors are very helpful. The tuition fees per year for studying chemistry is around 10000. This is three years course for cbcs system and 4 years course for NEP system. In admission process there is a quota for reserved candidates. The college give scholarships which either govt. Or private for the ews and reserved candidate every year.

Vidyasagar College- From a students perspective

I got into this college in 2020 and completed the course in 2024, it was a fairly good college with good infrastructure, supportive teachers, a good library and all the other amenities.I used to pay about ?15 thousand each year. The fees was equal for every student in the same course irrespective of their category.All the scholarships that are available can be done in this college, like svmcm, inspire,oasis etc.

My memorable college life

In my class,there are 24 chemistry students .On average the fee for whole course is 60k including chemistry practical fees,exam fees etc.Here the fees of all categories are same.here many scholarships like Inspire,SVMCM,Oasis are available.

6 semesters is there, per semester 3000, then multiplied 6 into 3000 i.e 18000 Tution in a month 1400 then in the year 1400 into 12 i.e 16800 Don't available I don't get any kind of scholarships.

Vidyasagar college is a good college

The college does provide some extra benefits for financially poor students, but the numbers are really low

This year in my course addmission fees is 15190 . My course is B.SC (hons) in computer science. There is no registration fees before addmission.The fees of my course is moderate to study . Laboratories are small bacthments are very helpful ,friendly and they are talented. As a scholarship you can got swami vivekananda scholarship . The amount of scholarship is 18000 and you have to score 60% , then you applicable for that scholarship.

Inside of the Vidyasagar College, Kolkata

I will always said that Collage is taking too much fees from the student . The computer science department Year fees is approx, 30,000. But the department did not provide a good lab and classes. It is a semester wise college There are two semester in a year. They gave yearly 18,000 if we get 60% on a year. The college campus is not so good. They did not provided good job and faculties.

Facts about Vidyasagar College

The tuition fees of college is moderate. It is a Govt. Undertaking college. Cost of the course is near about 36000. All the State Govt. And Central Govt. Scholarships can be availed by any student ( those who fulfill terms and conditions). I have got Kanyashree scholarship (State Govt. Aided), amout Rs.25000/-.

Good College Days

Fees were not much and well organised structure in terms of financial aspects. But at that time not much of offerings were there in terms of scholarship or other. Total fees was almost Rs. 20000 in total. So all could afford to take admission if the criteria matches. That time no campasing used to happen. So we didn't get any chance to appear for any employment interview
