Barasat Government College offers the Bachelor of Arts (General and Honours) course under 7 different specializations, the Bachelor of Science (General) course under 3 different specializations and the Bachelor of Science (Honors) course under 7 different specializations.
Candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 studies from a recognized board of education and have secured 60% aggregate marks or more (40% for SC / ST) are eligible to apply for admission into the B.A. and B.Sc. courses. Seats will be allotted based on merit list drawn up based on academic performance in 10 + 2 studies.
