Likes

The faculty member are great, they help the students in solving their doubts, they have immense knowledge in fhe subjects, they provide us notes and handouts for better understanding of the subjects, they are really friendly and guide us
One more thing which i liked is our library which is the most beautiful and peaceful place to study in a studious environment.
They also help us to fill several other scholarships from the government like swami vivekananda scholarships etc.

Dislikes

Some of the boring lectures make it difficult to understand the subjects
The most stupid thing is we can go to sports arena only when our morning section timings are that is 6:15 to 10:15 AM , after that we cannot go to Sports arena
Some things are not good like the environment and all

shaping future : a review of my college life

Likes

infrastructure was good as there was lift for the students to use and the library was maintained properly, cameras where everywhere, the smartboards used to work in every class. the sports area was also nice and maintained
A lot of oppurtunity given for skill development in short time with certification and also the professor were friendly

Dislikes

the notice were circulated really late and during the internal exam it used to be a chaos as there was more student studying as per the managment in a particular course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The besc life

Likes

The college canteen is extremely affordable and extremely clean and fresh vegeterian food
The college library has every type of book with 5000sqft area
The college washrooms are cleaner than 5 star hotel washrooms

Dislikes

No rule for attendance and presence in college

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Eligible from 1 st sem students on wards Avg package - 4lpa highest is 16lpa After getting this degree i am thinking of pursuing mba anf then getting into business

Likes

Teaching faculty is the best and helpful
College conduct many Activities like sports, business ever
Campus have a lot of facility like library, turf

Dislikes

Space is very small to cover big college event
Sports arena timing is very less and you can enter only one time

Placement Experience:

From sem 6 students become eligible for placement a lot of company came for placement and it has ha 70 to 80% of students getting placement. As I am a CA student and after getting a degree from our college I will start my CA final journey

The campus life is the most beautiful and amazing part of the college
The infrastructure is very unique and attractive
The placement are good and the college help in your personal development

Dislikes

Students feel bit hectic as there would be both classes and labs happening simultaneously

The college provide so many good opportunities of nice and well paid campus placement last year student are eligible for the campus placement and their are lots of good company are coming to college for the campus placement

Likes

Social Interaction the bhawanipur college provides a chances to improve your social skills, speaking skills and allows you to make new friends.
The college has a great infrastructure which helps it to provide it for its large number of students

Dislikes

All though they are not many things to dislike about the college but in my opinion the campus area could be a bit larger to provide for variety of sports

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose is BCom Honours which is provided by Calcutta University the course has immense events in today's changing world and it has also developed it to a great extent it has also included some of the rising subjects like constitutional values, environmental protection and information technology, marketing. Exams would be taken semester-wise is half yearly and the difficulty of exams would range from medium to hard.

Likes

Good facilities are provided by the college.
The foods and water are clean for consumption.
Teachers are very helpful if we need help.

Dislikes

some ruless are so dumb like we cant enter our own college .
sometimes usualy during events the college is to packed no space
the parking there is no proper parking provided.

ok this course is hard first off all accounts business maths etc. this course does not prepare much for the outside world because its just theory doing numericals and all.they sould add some practical methods of teaching. we have 3 exams per sem 2 internals 1 final.

The mother college

Likes

Overall infrastructure of the college makes it likable
The academic faculty of the college is very trustworthy
The girl to boy ratio makes it more sensible for boys to respect girls

The students are eligible for a placement in the sixth semester. A large number of companies visit and 90 percent of the offers are initially accepted by them due to the quality of our students. The average package costs around 6-7 lakhs pa for each student

Best Campus life in kolkata

Likes

Modern classrooms, infrastructure and library.
Vibrant Campus life, various student collectives and events.

Dislikes

No hostel facilities provided by the college.
Quite slow response ro student concerns.
Insufficient parking space for students and staff.

The curriculum covered vast subjects such as financial accounting, economics, entrepreneurship development, principles of management etc. Which are essential for developing knowledge in the field of finance. But on the other hand it is too basic and not that relevant when in comes to real world problems and skills required.

Bhawanipur college is the dream college of everyone

Likes

The teachers over my college are amazingly good they provide me with best education
My social life have become more interesting
The college give all the help I need and provides study material at all time

Dislikes

They don’t give entry without id and that’s worst
They give more priority to Gujarati students with Gujarati quota and all
And that they are lilttle bit too ki rant with their students

Exams are pretty much on the easy side ( only if youve studied ) and I guess the teaching is great bcz the teachers provide u with all. The notes and also when students are absent they even provide u the notes on WhatsApp and imp notes during exams as well

Hey BESC what's UP

Likes

The space around. It's is near and clean
The library they thave a lot of books as well as we can borrow them 7 books per time
It also has a good canteen and a well placed sports arena . The classrooms are too good

Dislikes

It is not a big campus at all as it did not have a field inside
They are very strict but supportive also but for me the fees is little too high
If you forget to wear your id card they won't permit you inside

Placement Experience:

Here placement are decent I have no knowledge about the highest package went but yeah it is good for a newbie in the job world . Though I k doing CA with bcom hons so I don't think I'll go that way . That's it
