The works provided a deep insight on the working of the world, how brutal and harsh the reality is and how we can overcome these. I wanted to study English since the beginning of time and have a career as a researcher in English. The faculty to student ratio of a Masters of Arts in English is 19:30. Most of the Faculty of the department of English is from Jadavpur University and Calcutta University. University of Calcutta exams are always tough because the cut off marks is 60% where as in other universities it's 80% and above.

Students from all Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses can apply for placement. Usually, the college informs us via text or emails, and opportunities are given every three months. The placement record of BESC is high. In these drives, you can apply for a number of companies and then select according to your preference. They also conduct training courses and mentoring sessions. After completing my MA in English, I plan to apply for a full-time job.

I chose this college mainly because of the faculty members and the library facility that the college was providing. Both were very helpful. The kind and helpful nature of the professors always made us feel protected and made it easier for students to approach them with doubts and queries.
