Which college is better for electrical engineering: Vishwakarma or PDPU?

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is one of the renowned private universities located in Gandhinagar. It is ranked 177 by NIRF for BTech. The university offers a BTech for Electrical Engineering and the admission is through JEE Mains. PDPU charges 9.73 lakhs for BTech courses. Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College is recognized by AICTE and administered by DTE Gujarat. Faculty: PDPU: The teaching quality is great at PDPU and the course curriculum is updated. VGEC BE Electrical Engineering Admission 2026

Admission to the BE Electrical Engineering programme at VGEC is conducted through the ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses), Gujarat, based on GUJCET or JEE Main scores. GUJCET 2026 was held on March 29, 2026, with results expected around May 1, 2026. The ACPC allotment process for degree engineering is expected to begin in June-July 2026. Fees and Financial Aid:

This information which I'm giving you was not full because I'm in 1st year and I will give my 100% in this information. At first we have to pay 1500/- as acpc admission fees, then 2300/- per year term fees, 2530/- per year for hostel fees where we have to pay to eat hostel food, then 150/- for enrollment number, 825/- or 925/- for exam fees per semester which depends on your subject, and also any PRC fees are there in which we have pay 300/- per year And we have to pay around 3000/- or 4000/- for academic year including instruments. Yes, there was also some government scholarship are available like Digital Gujarat scholarship in which there was many type of scholarship like Pm yashasvi - 6000/- Foodbill assistance - 10000/- to 15000/- ( only for hosteler with hostel mess gst number food bill ) Instruments bill assistance - as per stationery bill ( only for first year students ) based on their merit Tablet assistance - only for first year * This scholarship are not for general category And there was also other scholarship Like MYSY scholarship where any one from the college can apply for this scholarship. In this scholarship if you have a certificate of that you live in any hostel or PG then you can get around 17000/- to 20000/- as scholarship.

In our clg mission english program is made for students who have not good in english or want to increase skills in english .

In our clg year wise fees for boys is 2400 and for girls is 1700 . There are no other fees are paying like lab fees,development fees and other and no other categories like SC,ST ... There are so many scholarships are available in clg for different categories .

Very good college for engineering

Overall fees approx 5000 per semester including exam fees. There are no other fees for education but hostel fees and canteen fees are saperate based on reservation category. Government of Gujarat provides scholarship

My first sight of college

Hello, i am electrical engineering student of college vishwakarma govt. Engineering college , Ahemdabad. I got admission in second round of acpc. I am belongs to EWS category and my yearly course fees is only 1500 . and fees is registration fees that is around 350 rs I paid . For sc/st category there is no fees except registration fees if they have freeship card. Our college provide scholarship like digital gujrat for obc/st/sc student. And other is mukhyamantri yuva swavlamban yojana (MYSY). Digital gujrat provide 12000 per year include 3000 rs for purchase equipment. While mysy gives upto 50000rs for all category.50000 or 50% of your course fees whichever is less will be provided as scholarship. And you can also get scholarship if you are not get govt hostel you will get 1200rs per month on besis of other hostel fees recipet. And 5000rs get one time for purchase equipment .

There is scholarship for schedule classes.Also in Library you get Books for free if you have your cast certificate.There is different amount scholarship get by students,it's different to courses,years and many more.

As this institute is under the goverment,so tution fee means per semester it is between the 1500? to 1600? and exam fees is around 1000? .there are some scholarship available like digital gujrat and MYSY scholarship which gives you around 15000? per year.

College with good teaching but worst college life

As the college is government engineering college so the fee structure is quite low we were paying around 2500 per year as tuition fees if you get hostel then hostel fee is 3000 per year which is quite affordable so I don't think any person required any financial assistance but there are certain government scheme Like MYSY, Digital Gujarat etc.There is no employment opportunity for a student.

The Best College By Government In Ahmedabad

The Course completion is Properly done and also The academics are Done is very good

The fees for both hostel as well as college is 1500 per year as it is government college and other than that some exam form fees which is like 1000 and Other travelling expenses which will be like 5000 per year if you are living far from college and also scholarship are been provided like traveliing expenses rebate food expense rebate like that placement is at next level last year the job ofeer was lime 500

This is state government college so there is very less fees it is affordable.only you have to pay semester fees and exam form fees which is less than 3000 .but here you have to pay hostel fees and food bill
