One bed one fan one table and one chair provided in the room. Meal quality is so bad and menu also so bad. A-5 , kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal is the location for rented a room or PG. Registration process is good for hostel and affordability is so bad

Hostel life is good . The meal quality is 6 out of 10. In girls hostel, the warden is so irritating, she don't want to hear anyone. If you will rent a pg it will cost you less costlier than the college hostel and food will also be better than the hostel one

Hostel is located very close to college campus it takes 5 minutes by walking. Hostel room includes bed, ceiling fan, and 24×7 electricity and wifi too. Meal is average someday they provide good and somedays to be honest they provide worst

Facilities provided in the room : table,chair,fan, almira,bed tub light etc. Meal quality is a average .it's is not good but you servive for 4 year . Registration is very easy you addmission and fill the form and paying apart of fee then give receipt then came in hostel . There are many PG around my college which are also very affordable

Hostel Facilities:

Till 3rd year I was in hostel. There are 2 sharing rooms available with common washroom. There will be fan, tubelight, bed, chair and table in the room with a narrow balcony window. A little playground is there in hostel. Meal quality is too poor. Four meals will be provided - Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner. In breakfast menu there are variations of food like Upma / Luchi sabzi / Roti sabzi / Cornflakes with tea. In Lunch there will be rice, vegetable curry / fish curry / aaloo-paneer / chicken curry. At evening snacks there will be tea, biscuits or mixture. At dinner ther you can opt either roti or rice along with daal and vegetable curry. The rotis are half baked everyday. Many times worms and insects will be seen in the food. Plates are also not properly washed. It is so unhygeinic. I also rented a room in my 4th year with room rent of 1500 for double sharing and 2600 for single room. Cheap food in this locality is availbale with per meal charges ranging 50-100 but taste awful

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is good. Hostel good is also good. You will be provided food 4 times a day. Both vegitarian and nin vegitarian food options ar available in Hostel. Like Fish chicken egg. In parallel who don't eat vegitarian they can ate paneer.

Hostel Maintenance is very bad and my warden is also very bad they didn't take any decisions lots of students feel very lonely. Foods of the hostel are very bad. The hostel takes fees before living the students. The locality rent of pg is 5000.

Can i take direct admission in this college for Bca course? And what's the hostel fee?

JIS College of Engineering offers BCA at the UG level. Admission to BCA is solely based on merit so there is no direct admission policy here. Candidates need to participate in the counseling process conducted by MAKAUT. The merit list is based on marks scored by candidates in Class 12.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this program, candidates must have completed Class 12 with English and Computer Application/ Mathematics/ Informatics Practices/ Computer Science/ Statistics from a recognized board.

Hostel Fees: JIS College Of Engineering charges hostel fees of 5500/- per month which are payable Quarterly. Additionally, the one-time admission fee is INR. 5000. So, the total amount payable at the time of joining the hostel is INR 38000. The hostel fees for one semester are therefore 5500 X 6 months = INR. 33000 + Admission fee INR 5000.
