Completely Honest and unbiased Review of A.P. Shah as a student studying for three years now

Likes

Majority faculty is good and helpful, Labs and Library and greatt, Cleanliness is top notch, great facilites, great classrooms
Students have computer access anytime in the library for projects or any college related work and most books are also available in college for students to take home.

Dislikes

Students are not really well mannered many peers feel very unpunctual and stuff as if they don't have great manners
some college faculty are not really great at teaching in labs, one professor had to keep calling another professor for help when students ask queries.
Canteen has jain food and it doesn't really suit everyone's taste buds

Admission:

I applied to 2 colleges LTCOE and AP Shah Institute of Technology since these were the only two with fair reputation and had Data Science in their curriculum, my first preference was LTCOE since it was nearby my home but unfortunately I wasn't able to get in the college due to their higher cutoffs I got my second college of choice. I got accepted by my CET scores but JEE scores are also valid for admission. The admission process was pretty simple, fill a few forms pay the first amount of fees and you're good to go.

Love for college

Likes

The college has 3 cafeteria with nice facility.
The library of college is too good and get all kind of engineering related books.
The fests are very good and awesome , it leads to good social interaction

Dislikes

The college don't have big campus and not much space to roam.
The college lack in proper guidance for placement.
The college don't have good wifi as they say

Admission:

I like my college faculty and infrastructure and placements they have many good companies to have good placement and it gives lots off chances it's average package is 17lpa and heightest is 54lpa and lowest is 10lpa

A. P shah the college known as tiger of thane

Likes

College has a good faculty and nice teaching staff
College offer wifi enable campus for all students
College has 3 cafeteria which has very good food

Dislikes

The campus is not so big and no place for outdoor sports
The turf they have is made out of cement which not suitable for cricket
College is to far from station almost 10 km from station

Admission:

I Choose this college because it provides great placement and great internships, you get your first internship certificate in your first year which is too good, other college dont hai such things , and the ambient of college is also very peaceful and best for studies that i didn't find in other college's also the admissions process was vert smooth and the staff were very kind and helped us and they also describe the course in detail and it benefits.

Ratio of girl and boy is 3:7 college not provide a playing ground and small campus and infrastructure is good but beautiful
For a professional development provide placement course and training for placement and also for physical development provider games and cultures
The college room is very clean and also the campuses also clean and very attractive beautiful with ac classrooms and very support you faculty

Dislikes

College pose to complete assignments and also the attendance is compulsory 75% that is the dislike performing
And college not provide for other category student hostel hostel Just provide for Jain minority student
College campus is very small so we not play a cricket games in the college but college provide other playground for limited time that is a dislike performing

The college is a very beautiful and ac rooms available also the placement is good and very support the facility that was I am choosing his college and also for the admission confirmation I am eligible for cap round admission as OBC student that was the reason I am choosing this college and that is near to my hometown admission process is so lendy but college provide a faculty to get easy admitted in this college and cut off this college is approximate 91% percentile for cap round student mstt student and for JEE percentile that was 80 percentile is a minimum percentile for the getting admission and the cap round seat

The college Things

Likes

I really liked the canteen of my college because it is affordable and tasty and well maintained hygiene
I also liked the study area The main Library of College it's really give a space to study peacefully
The boys common room also having every indoor game available

Dislikes

Disappointing things in my college is that it doesn't have a big campus
Genuinely college don't have a ground but having a small turf
Last bu not least some Professors having anger issues and have already lot of attitude among students

Admission:

Like To be honest I don't want to take addmission in this college not problem of the college I dont want college in THANE because I want college in Mumbai side but sadly the cut off was so high and last chance was this only so yeah but this college is also great

Likes

Small College but it's growing somewhat extent
Campus Life is negligible ,not at all engaging
Somewhat are good ,but some Faculties are not upto the mark

Dislikes

Teachers and laborious work assigned to student
Bad infra and library is small no spacing for students
Placements are below average ,students facing unemployment

Admission:

As this College is near to my house and in my marks domain of 12 th what can I get is this ,other colleges have lot of fest & clubs compared to this college ,For Admission you have to appear for MHTCET & Jee Mains exam

A TRIP TO APSIT

Likes

Faculty of the college is very well experienced
It has good ambience like it has positive aura
It has good and supportive staffs and the admins

Dislikes

It’s don’t has the enough campus as the college should have
Some of the teachers can can improve like they can teach more better but they don’t
They aren’t have any backup teachers for some subjects

Admission:

So basically I have literally scored very lesser marks in my compitative exams and I was admiring my dream branch that is computer engineering and I really experienced blessed by getting admitted to this college and I would say ke my college is best for everything and the admissions process of this college is like one can be admitted here on the basis of MHTCET and can also be the institute level

APSIT from my views

Likes

three different places to have food and cheap
all the faculty is very nice and well accomplished
all notes are available on their portal.

Dislikes

campus is too small for activites and no space for sports
two wheeler parking is there but no four wheeler parking
it is very far away from railway station

Admission:

i took this college as it is very close to where i live, and i got admission through management quota, they dont rake any donation. if you are jain you can get any course you like even if you scored 0.003 percentile as it is jain minority college and nkt many jain people study engineering

The faculty are knowledgeable and very supportive.They focuses on both practical and theory knowledge.The mentorships from the faculties helps us to personal as well as academic supports.
The infrastructure include modern classrooms,well equipped labs, and a library.
The placements services are provided by the college for all students.The college supports various extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

The college needs to do more focus on the industry knowledge to enhance job opportunities.
The college should focus on more companies for placements and high packages during placements.
Need to focus on girls to boys ratio, because except CS & IT, the ratio of girls is seem to be less in other departments.

Admission:

I applied to several colleges, but choose this college for its balance of affordable fees, faculty expertise and placement oppourtunities. While I received confirmed admission from other institutions but I rejected due to its above missing points in their college.I was rejected from Somaiya college due to missing the cutoff by few percentile, but this college likely stand a better alternative for this college. The admission process is very simple and straightforward, requiring eligibility is based on MHT-CET or JEE mains exams (any one).The minimum percentile should be scored by any student to get admission through MHT-CET is 80%ile. For CS & IT department it should be minimum 87%ile scored by any student for admission. The overall experience is very smooth, with clear communication about the process, timelines, and counselling sessions, making the process easy for students.

My college review

Likes

I like all the faculties are very supportive and nature and are too much helpful.
All the class rooms have AC so it is also good
Lab are having digital board so it makes easier to understand or visualise the thing properly.

Dislikes

Campus is not so big but it is pretty to good to enjoy.
Students are not allowed to take their cars for their self rest of bikes are allowed
There is not so much fest like I have observer 1-2 fest are celebrated

Admission:

To be honest i only want this college because I have scored around 88 percentile in mht cet and in this marks I want AIML dept and I also got in this collegs plus one more reason to join this college I have heard by seniors that teachers are very supportive here and Evey class rooms have air conditioners so that I will be easier in summer season to go to the college and study as I m daily scholar and I have to go to college daily
