My honest review on the college "DSBM" , bhubaneswar

Likes

I liked about the faculty members since they are very cooperative and friendly with students..
I liked the atmosphere in my college since I feel positive when I enter my college
The classrooms and toilets are very much clean and there are personal interviews practise within the campus which developed mu speaking skills

Dislikes

I don't like the campus since it's too small
The college ground is not that perfect for sports and other events

Placement Experience:

We get access to in-campus placement recruitments and they take our gd/pi tests and accordingly they select the candidates they think are capable of their company and we also get access to off-campus placements too.

The best college ever for BBA

Likes

I liked the campus of the college and the environment around it is so good.
The college provides books for which we are required to purchase the books
The teaching staff and the non teaching staff are really very helpful and nice

Dislikes

The cafeteria of the college is good but not offering good foods.
The college doesn't provide campus recruitment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is awesome as it offers all the possible knowledge that should be provided in bba course and apart of book knowledge it provides soft skills knowledge.

One of the best college till yet

Likes

I liked the teacher very much and the teaching skills of the teachers are really very good
The behavior of all the teaching staffs and all the non teaching staffs are really very good.
The college is conducting various activists which helps in gaining soft skills.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is small and there is no games period.
There is no campus in the college and there is no campus coming.

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is really very awesome and offers all the knowledge that should be provided in a course and apart from bookish knowledge it offers soft skills.

The club activities, the mentorship. The peers.
The peers, very friendly kind and gentle

Dislikes

Canteen the food, the options of food available
Campus size is very small and it's very small
No live events, no concerts and no big such event

Placement Experience:

One believes one could start his own business after bba but there are certain placement available in the college. Few people are picked from the batches depending on the cgpa and cv. But the placements are good

College life is good

Likes

I like the events of the college and sports.
My college invites professors or speakers for some motivation.
My college offere to watch movies on Saturday in the seminar halls.

Dislikes

There is nothing I disliked but college is very small.
The rules of the college is like we are studying in the school.
It feels like we are studying in the school in stead of college.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like DE Shaw visited and offers 25 lacs. The highest package as per company is 25 lacs per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is from 7-9. My plan after getting the degree is doing MBA.

Likes

The faculties are helpful in nature and guide for future.
There is a cricket ground for the students.
The college life and campus life is good.

Dislikes

The mess food is not good and can be improved.
There is no bike stand where the students can park their bikes.
There is no GYM facility for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have an interest in this subject, especially in accounts and finance. It helps me to find my dream job and a better career in the future. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60.

DAV School Of Business Management is a good UG College for anyone residing in Bhubaneswar.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course BBA is ideal for those who are planning to pursue MBA later. It is ideal for both commerce and non-commerce background students. The faculty members are very friendly and helpful. They encourage the students to come up with new ideas and do not encourage bookish answers in the exams. Speaking of exams, there is a semester-wise examination.

Combination of government and private facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to get more opportunities after my graduation in the commerce field. The student: faculty ratio is 30:1 which is quite good for college students. Every teacher is very well qualified with special skills which help in different fields after graduation. The teaching method is very good. The term exam is dependent on utkal University and it's not that difficult to pass.

Road to Excellence

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onwards students get eligible for campus placement. As I am a fresher I don't have much knowledge regarding campus placement, but what I have heard from my seniors is that various MNCs like Godrej and Asian Paints visits our campus. As I want to pursue an MBA I will not be working after my graduation.
