The curriculum isn't that great at all. Because of NEP, we have to study 7 subjects, out of which 3 are random and don't make sense to our majors at all. Like who needs to study Hindi or EVS in college? Make it stop, please. It just adds unnecessary class hours to our weeks, and more exams and assignments, we don't learn anything useful from AEC or VAC courses.

Alongside core economics subjects the course offers electives from which you can choose according to your preferences. The course is good and technical and interesting. The atmosphere in SRCC is studious and motivates to study. Also we were to give 3 sets of exams in one year. It was quite hectic but, yeah we survived!

I got know about Economics (hons) when I was in Class X. It was my sister who told me about the course, who was already in Delhi University. I got really interested in Economics at that time and chose Commerce in Class XI. I also got know that not only this is one the hardest courses in Delhi University, but also one of the most rewarding courses, providing very high placements. The faculty:student ratio of Shri Ram College of Commerce is around 1:50. All the faculty of Shri Ram College of Commerce is highly qualified with many teachers having more than 30 years of experience in teaching. Although, our session started really late, the term exams were pretty much on time.

This course got me interested in the field of economics and I liked maths , that's why I chos ethe course. There is a bit unfair faculty student ratio here because of many students of 1:100 so do not expect much from faculty. There are well qualified for their level. It's easy to pass and the exams are held in 4 months.

The exams are being held in every 4 to 5 months. Since economics honours is hard , it is quite difficult to pass , but if you have a real interest in economics and maths , you'll score good marks , no need to worry much.

SRCC is an established and well-known institution affiliated with the University of Delhi. The institution has a pretty good faculty and the curriculum being taught there is also considered to be of high standards. If you are planning to prepare a solid CV for your career, I would suggest that you opt for a course of your interest at SRCC.
These are just some views I gathered by interacting with students of these institutes.

My brother was eligible for admission at SRCC but instead, he opted for IPM because it was favoring his interests, environment, and several other factors. You can too make a decision based on your interests and several other factors which you think are important for your career.
