The best faculty, very understanding and supportive.
College campus is really good with greenery everywhere

Dislikes

There is definitely space for some improvement as teaching skills of some department are very poor , they don't attend classes .

Definitely course was very interesting ie psychology, economics . Lecturers used various methods to teach such as smart class, or in the form of dramas and movies , YouTube videos , stories or some real life example

The thing about the college which I liked the most is the well experienced faculties for psychology and Criminology major papers, the teaching is really interesting and interactive, also provide realistic examples during the classes
The campus is small yet big with its quality of education and approachable seniors and faculties l, which makes learning more interesting in the college also they held various sessions for students which is really good.

Dislikes

They need to bring well experienced teachers to the English department
They need to work on grievances and improvise the action

Course Curriculum Overview:

Speaking of psychology and Criminology, hands on to their interactive classes with real life examples which makes learning more interesting, the department also held orientation programs and sessions for students. Speaking of English department they need to improvise the faculty for the English departmentm rest eveything is great.

A student's view of the college, The School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya

Likes

The environment of the college. Its green and beautiful and well maintained.
Despite being a small campus, there are more than enough facilities such as computer labs, auditorium, conference room, sports arena, a criminology lab and a psychology lab etc. There is also a hostel though only for girls.

Dislikes

The college canteen is very small and is closed very often. I wish they had better quality of food so that we could eat at college itself.
The english department of the college needs to get more experienced teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

SSW, RN: Made Memories but Not Good Enough

Department faculty is well informed and qualified
Staff members are friendly and helpful to students

Dislikes

Particular department head and faculty is very problematic
Limited exposure to research which limits for graduate studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was the only college in Mangalore that gave Criminology as an option with Psychology so that was my main reason for choosing it. The curriculum is pretty intensive in terms of assignments and projects. In theory, the course is alright but practical wise, there was limited exposure. There should have been more time allotted to learning research methods and stats intensively. There are internals conducted every semester after two months of commencement and finals at the end of the semester. The difficulty level lies in that you should be able to answer long answers in shorter time.

College through my eyes

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is only one internal exam per semester and a semester final exam. Each semester will be of 4 months. It depends on the subject you have chosen which determines the level of difficulty to pass in that particular subject

The subjects I was interested were present,My combination was psychology,criminology, english major.Criminology is one of the rarest subject present. And the friendly atmosphere here made me to finalise the college.

The institution provides all the facilities required for the students to complete their study pursue their career. And also has Post graduate courses along with evening course for move on with education. Opportunities are available without discrimination.

Remarks:

There is restrictions and over rules friendly behaviour was in teachesrs and free Wi-Fi campus and canteen and football ground basketball and wolly boll court all facilities are there.
