Thing I liked about this college is it's faculty ,they are very friendly and also knows the way of proper teaching that can affect the maximum students in a right way .they are very friendly with their teachers and also have a polite behaviour.

Faculty:

Faculty members are very approachable and friendly. They listen to the queries of students and attend to them as soon as possible. Exams happen twice per year, four if the internals are included. Questions are up to the mark. Course curriculum is very relevant and will definitely help you in further entrances.

My favourite college

My college exam faculty is also good , our exam is also good for the students also 50% students are fails and 50% student's also pass in the axam there are 2 exams annual exam and final exams and student ratio is 50% also

My Experience as UG student at SCS Autonomous College, Puri, Odisha

Even though the faculty consists of only 4 professors and 2 lab assistants, they are very nice, kind and helpful. You can literally go and ask them anything about studies or even your personal problems without any fear of judgement.

Dislikes

The faculty is very small. It needs more members because the present teachers go through tremendous stress because division of work is very difficult for them.

The faculty-to-student ratio is very low. There are both UG & PG students in the department and in addition to that there are UG second year elective classes as well. So it put tremendous load on the professors' shoulders. Even though the faculty is very small, they are very kind, helpful and supportive. If you have any problem, be it personal or academic they are all ears. There are total 6 semesters (2 in each year). Every semester the exams are divided into 2 parts: mid-sem (15 marks) and end semester (60 marks). And the rest 25 marks are for practical exam. 5 for writing practical record, 5 for viva and 10 for written. The mid semesters are pretty easy if you're clear with basics of the current core paper that's being taught. And for the end semester, you need to work harder. You need to score atleast above 40 out of 100 in order to pass the exam. In my batch around 6-7 students got backlogs in some papers. These were the students who didn't attend classes regularly or were not that serious about continuing their studies after graduation. The course curriculum is very relevant as the field of psychology is expanding more and more as time passes. The syllabus consists of cores like any other UG college in India. It's almost the same.

Student Snaps:

Faculty members are very approachable and friendlt. They listen to the querries of students and attend to them as soon as possible. Ratio of faculty to student is also quite good. Personally, I like Sasmita Pramanik and Deepshika Routray for their teaching method. There's no such teacher who can be disliked. Exams happen twice per year, four if the internals are included. Questions are up to the mark. Course curriculum is very relevant and will definitely help you in further entrances.

The best thing about my college is the levl of teaching by every one , also other outside checking faculties

There are total 15 teachers in the department of english . Total 100 students are pursuing both ug and pg. The faculties are all good. I like ipsita mam so much, she is my life saver my favoraite one. I dont like upma behera mam beacuse she is good but not for me There are total 8 exams in both semester and deficulties are ok if you study well you will succed .

The All Faculties of Our College Are So good . they are very much friendly In towards of Study and Help . the relationship is Also Good between Student and Teachers . Also the Guest Faculty are good . I like Subhasis Nanda . Because Of his Beautiful Explanation of Every Topic . I don't like Our Head Of the department ( Sasmitaa praamanik) due To her anger Issues .. But all Are good In nature And Their teach Capabilities are much Better.

Like the college in which I study it is a autonomous college ,semi Government College and around we have plus 10 teachers in our department for English and are HOD is such an excellent teacher with a vibrant figure of speech and vocal. As other teachers are even excellent and hard working summer kind of little aggressive as teachers use to be but we are very thankful for having such a faculty in our department who are so cooperated to the students. We used to have two semester per year in which we have one midterm and one main semester where the midterm is about 30 marks and other was about 70 marks per year we have two semester and according to my course I am doing ma in English so I have a duration of 2 years in this 2 years I am going to appear 4 semesters are marking system is on the basis of CGPA and even in percentage also. The only thing I can save for my exams that in our midterm which is about 30 marks we used to appear two answers out of 4 and we have to write per questions answer about 4 to 5 or 6 pages and this is very important to understand from that one line question wet what the teacher actually demands us to write on the paper they used to ask us tricky questions with simple answers.

There in our department there are sufficient number's of faculties....As there is no permanent faculty in our department after changing the government in odisha all were changed so...I m not too close to anyone....there is semester examination system

The faculty of every department are very well and polite .in every department no. Of faculty varries.the relationship between the faculty and students is very good. I liked my geology teacher Narayan sir as he is one of the teachers who try to find the solution of every problem his student having. Exam are moderable but the gaps between semester are very less .,in 1 year you have to appear 4 exam including 2 semester and 2 mid semester.

SCS - A dream college

Faculties are hardworking. Friendly in nature very cooperative

Faculty to ratio 55:10 . Practical demonstrstor are helping in nature. They help us during practical classes. Pallavi maam is very talented she is my favourite teacher. Mami maam is very hardworking she is perfect example of beauty with brain. Semester Exams are conducted twice a year.
