About RVSCAS
Rathnavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science was established in 1986 and has grown to be one of the biggest self financing institutes. It is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and was accorded autonomous status in 2004 by UGC and re-accredited in 2014 with 'A' Grade. It has been ranked as the fourth best college in Coimbatore.
The College offers Bachelors, Masters and Research programs in various streams like Computer Science, Electronics, Management, Commerce, English Literature, Mathematics and Life Sciences and keeps on adding more career oriented courses.
Spread over an area of 14.24 Acres, the college campus is equipped with all the modern facilities and great infrastructure. The college has an enrollment of around 4800 students. RVSCAS Coimbatore Admission 2024
The college offers various UG, PG and Doctoral courses. The admission to these courses is granted based on the regulations prescribed by the UGC and Bharathiar University.
- For UG courses, selection is made on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 examinations.
- For PG courses and research programmes, entrance tests are conducted by BU University or National level examinations such as CAT scores are considered. Entrance exams are followed by interviews conducted by the college.
Admission Procedure:
- Students are requested to fill the application form either online or in person.
- The application fees can be paid in the form of DD from any Nationalized Bank/Challan (Bank of India) to be drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore”.

Why I chose this college because of good infrastructure, Affordable Fees Structure, Ragging free Campus, Conducting Many Occasions, Good Faculty and Most important thing is They provide lots of placement opportunities.
Likes
- The first and main thing is that faculty is very good and they are always been there for support whenever we need. All the teachers have very well knowledge of their respective subjects. They treat all the students equally without any discrimination
- The second thing is about placement. The college really provides very good opportunity for students.Many reputed and high companies come to the college to pick up students. The college also provides special training to students for placements.
Dislikes
- The major demerit is that college easily provides admission to students, which I think should be avoided a little bit. I think some entrance test or personal Interview should be conducted so that some deserving students can get admission.
- As I mentioned in first point about easy admission ,it must be avoided because it really affects overall environment of college
Admission:
The admission in the college is direct ,there is no entrance exam. The students should be 12 passed. The application form will be available in college office and the admission is open till August -September. The one thing which should be improved is that there should be some criteria for admission, there should be entrance exam or atleast a minimum marks need in 12std, currently the college only requires that should be 12 pass no matter about their marks,which I think should be avoided or improved

There is no entrance exam for the admission or enter into the college I got my application form through online. It make admission very easy and pay for 3000 for pre admission. And we got BBA department this is I am going to learn in this coming years. Easily get what we want course and the pieces are very less compared to other colleges. After we got the admission in few days we submit our data Sen certificate to the department and arranged according to our own numbers on the gave register number for each student identify them in this college we don't pay any payment for admission. Before enter into the college everybody should submit our certification. It is a very easy process for the students hot joining in the college it is easy method you can both use online and offline to take admission in this college I prefer only online admission it is easy and there is no payment for the admission but be coming college we see the surroundings and infrastructure of the college is very nice etc

The admission process is very good. Because very clear explanation for all course. So very easy to admission process and no entrance exam. If you need to favorite course you ask then get it. Major your decision is very important to select to the course. I am selecting the course BBA. The degree is very valuable and easy to understand. College entrance hall college staff help with filling out the application process. The first 6-month fee details told to you. Very important for reservation benefits provided to college admission centers. The particular benefits are equal for all students. College different types of course is available on campus. And bachelor degree and master degree and medical course and catering course in one compass.. fees has confronted all peoples. So no scared of college. And college staff and workers are very kind of work and helpful. College 8 is very beautiful and the work space is very comfortable for the students. The admission process is so enough it is used by students and parents to value.
