22 Sep, 2025 CAT 2025 Exam will be held on November 30, 2025, for MBA/ PGDM admission. CAT 2025 registrations have closed, and the admit cards will be available for download @iimcat.ac.in from November 5, 2025. For more details, click here.
02 Sep, 2025 XAT 2026 registration has started for MBA/PGDM admission. Aspirants can apply online till December 5, 2025, @xatonline.in. XAT 2026 will be held on January 4, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM. For more details, Check Here.
RVS College of Arts and Science offers UG and PG courses in various disciplines of Arts and Science as the flagship courses. Candidates need to score at least 50% in +2 or Graduation to apply to RVSCAS. For the MBA program, one needs to qualify for the TANCET/MAT/Consortium Common Entrance Test as well.
One can reserve a seat for a UG or PG course with INR 10000. For the MBA program, candidates can register for the entrance examinations on their respective websites. The registrations take place in June-July. The last date for registration for TANCET 2025 is June 30, while for MAT it’s July 14, 2025. The registration fee for TANCET is INR 1000. The registration fee for MAT is INR 2200 (for PBT or CBT) or INR 3800 (for PBT and CBT). The total fees for the UG courses range from INR 96,000 to INR 1.5 Lakhs, and for the PG courses range from INR 1.44 Lakhs to INR 5.4 Lakhs.
RVSCAS offers UG and PG courses in 38 disciplines of Arts and Science. It offers a Ph.D in various fields, including Computer Studies, Biotechnology, Food & Nutrition and Languages (English and Tamil). The application fee for M.Phil is INR 500, and for Ph.D, it’s INR 600. Candidates are required to be qualified as per the UGC norms to apply for a Ph.D. The admission to the program is a two-step procedure - Common Eligibility Test (CET) followed by an Interview. One needs to score 50% in aggregate (CET+Interview) to get admission to PhD/M.Phil program.

RVSCAS Ph.D and M.Phil Admission 2025
RVS College of Arts and Science offers Ph.D in Computer Studies, Biotechnology, Food & Nutrition and Languages (English and Tamil). and many more disciplines. Both full and part-time positions are offered under this program. Candidates are required to qualify for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) followed by an interview.
For admission to any PhD/M.Phil program, candidates are required to have passed the PG degree course under SSLC+HSC+UG+PG pattern with a minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

- As I mentioned in first point about easy admission ,it must be avoided because it really affects overall environment of college
- The major demerit is that college easily provides admission to students, which I think should be avoided a little bit. I think some entrance test or personal Interview should be conducted so that some deserving students can get admission.
