What is the Tutor-Ward system at QMGCW?

Each faculty member at QMGCW is assigned a group of students as their wards. Faculty members have the additional voluntary responsibility of moulding and guiding their wards in all academic & personal fronts. The rules and regulations, welfare measures and various scholarships available and the ways to go about them are explained to the wards. Slow learners with difficulties in understanding and learning the subjects at the pace it should be, are paid individual attention, guided and trained by the tutor on the better ways of learning. Sharing their own problems with their mentors serves a sigh of healthy relief to the students, thus enabling them to peacefully concentrate on their studies.

How are students trained for placement at QMGCW Chennai?

The T&P Cell at QMGCW Chennai trains students in the following ways:To impart the skills in collaboration with NAAN MUDHALVAN SCHEME-The skill enhancement initiative for the youth of Tamil Nadu.To educate students to be thoughtful about corporate etiquettes for employment in reputed companies.To excel as an Entrepreneur.Creating enthusiastic competent personalities.Empowering the students with core values and professional skills to get placed in the appropriate field.Conducting Special Communication Development Training programs by the leading training Institutes periodically.Regular interaction by the Placement Team with the students for fine-tuning of their skills.Emphasising the importance of communication skills.Placement officer and Coordinator visiting the classrooms of the final year students to brief about the employability skills and to meet the job market expectations.Individual counselling to make them understand the certainty of life.

My experience in my college

Likes

Qualified teachers and good teaching and it's located in main road no no bus and bus stop issu
It's an government college so no fees high it usefull for all womens
Good qualified teachers . And hostel inside the college

Dislikes

No canteen in this college and no deep clean in tha toilet and little bit in water problem
The lab not clean in properly the instrument is very old
The net work issu in the college and no Properly in banch

Internships Opportunities:

The 98 % Placements ,Many students get internships from our course. Many companies come here to recruit students. Chief accountant is the top role offered in our college The internship in providing st and sc students and general catacary of the students

At that time toilet was very bad... Now they maintained clean & clear

Internships Opportunities:

HDB Financial Services offered internships for me the stipend was only 7k at that time. But now they are giving a good package for freshers. It was very helpful to grow my career. Internship days are very memorable.

About the lungs of Chennai college

Likes

Faculties are very friendly in nature and loved their teaching style
Library is my favourite place in college where the librarian sister was so kind and helpful
The festivals we celebrate in college is my memorable moments and faculties too enjoyed with us

Dislikes

We don't have canteen first now started the small shop
Snakes and some insects are disturbing sometimes is the regular irritating thing
Not getting proper travelling facilities for long distance students
