QMGCW offers admission to many undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., and M.Phil programs. It offers courses in various faculties, including Arts, Commerce, Science, and Philosophy. The college conducts the TANCET entrance exam for the MCA program, and for other programs, the selection is merit-based.

QMGCW offers BSc as its flagship program. The eligibility criteria are that the candidate must have qualified for 10+2 from the Tamil Nadu board or any other recognised board of India. The selection criteria for admission are merit-based.

In 2022-23, QMGCW supported 251 students with scholarships and freeships, through college support and through non-governmental agencies. Laxmi Charity gave a total of INR 18,37,500 to 245 students, Saksham assisted 5 students worth INR 1,00,000, and the DMS Office assisted 1 student worth INR 13,000. Such efforts facilitate pressure on their budget and assist the worthy students in their studies.

QMGCW Application Process 2025

Application Process:

  • Applications can be made online via the official site of admission in Tamil Nadu. There is an opportunity to submit the application directly on the portal through interested candidates.

Eligibility & Selection:

  • In case of Undergraduate programs (BA, B.Sc., B.Com, etc), the candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) through the Tamil Nadu state board or an equivalent board. The upper age is 24 years, and physically challenged students have a relaxation of 2 years.
  • To apply for PG course (MA, M.Sc., MCA, etc.), a corresponding bachelor's degree whose a University recognised by the University of Madras or any UGC recognised university is required.
  • In the case of the Ph.D. (part-time) program, the candidate must possess an M.Phil./ postgraduate degree from a recognised institution.

Admission Procedure:

  • Admissions follow strict government reservation norms.
  • The selection on the basis of Part-III total (out of 400) and rank lists is put up on the notice board of the college.
  • Special quotas exist in favour of physically challenged students, sports achievers (State and National levels), Tamil students of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and children of Ex-Servicemen.
  • The candidates with applications in both Shift I and Shift II will be interviewed on the same day.

QMGCW Scholarships 2025

QMGCW offered 251 students scholarships and freeships in 2022-23. It was a simple process only. I joined in under the reservation benefit. college teaching was very good and also encouraged sports students. Fees were very low. Around 5k is only charged per year. All 3rd group students are eligible for this course.

Admission:

It is only based on cut-off. First I got second shift which is also government. Then after some people leave then I got the first shift. Admission took from morning 8 a.m to 5 p.m. then I got B.Sc ( Mathematics ) Department. The application form is on the website only. After 12 result government announced the date to apply and also give the application end date.
