Ques. What is the role of QMGCW’s Placement Cell?

Ans. At QMGCW, the Placement (Career Guidance and Placement) Cell (also called the PGPC) facilitates the student development of all streams- Sciences, Commerce and Humanities- under the able leadership of the Principal. It keeps a current database of students as well as the recruiting companies in order to coordinate campus and off-campus interviews. The Cell also organises pre-placement training, a career guidance process, and facilitates internships, in order to make the students employable. It acts as a liaison between the students and employers, and as such, a game between placement activities is facilitated. The Placement Cell of QMGCW also allows seminars, guest lectures and workshops so that its students are in line with the expectations of the industry.

Ans. The Placement Cell at QMGCW prepares students in a multi-faceted manner by conducting extensive training programs in aptitude tests, group discussions, and mock interviews, in both technical and HR rounds. Career development sessions in groups and on an individual basis help students clear up their career and academic aspirations. The Cell also organises internships and recruitment off- or on-campus in well-known organisations.
