IMI Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The Placements are pretty good. Some great FMCG companies come here for recruitment process. The fields like marketing and finance receive the most number of placements in average. Average CTC- 1369023 HIGHEST CTC- 4136000

It is average what i can say... The highest touching 15 lakhs and average something around 9-10 lakhs..... More over the lowest is more than 6 lakhs.... Company like ICICI, Genpact hire in mass. Also marico... Grand tbornton... PWC are some reputed recruiters.

The college ofers 100% final placement and 100% of students get internships through college. Popular names come to campus for recruitment like PWC deloit, KPMG, EY, Gartner, Grand thornton, ICICI prudential, ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, Reliance industries limited, Wipro Mars wrinkle federal bank and others

After the 1st year students are available for payment. there are more than 70 companies that will come for placement and internship opportunities. the highest package was 15lpa and the average went to 6-7 LPA. 100% placement.

Placements are good and after the 4th-trimester students will be eligible for sitting in the final placements and after the 1st-trimester students will be eligible for the summer internship. Gartner, Big 4 and Grant Thornton like companies that hire in bulk with good packages but Gartner don't hire in bulk and it offers the PPO also after the SIP with around 17lacs, as of now I am not informed of the highest package because I still placements are going on so don't know right now. 97% of students get the placements from the college

When compared to other universities in the same rank, IMI-K has an excellent placement report. IMI K placement 2021 candidates were offered with the highest package of INR 20.7 LPA and the average package was INR 8.55 LPA. Good placement and internship history.locate in my own state and get full educational loan from Sbi Alipore.Excellent education culture,good infrastructure also the factors to choose this college.No ragging in college.Hostel facility is also excellent.There are several clubs and committes where students can join and develop their skill before entering in company.

Location. I wasn??t allowed to go outside Calcutta. I know passouts from IMI and I had a word with them regarding placements and faculty. The reviews were better than that of other MBA colleges in Kolkata.

The bad remark of the college would be there is a lot of hierarchy the teachers do not facilitated everything you need to ask everybody for events taking a small steps in the colleges if the committees are there in the college that not that you are useful because everything is accountable you are too much accountable for everything what you do this wouldn't what is not have that was authorities and power to perform so it's ok as per the academic it's not that great the opportunities are less when you see the final placement can you please. Also fine not get date and if you see on investment ratio it's bad trade.

The very first thing which needs to be done for admission into a B-school is appearing for competitive exams such as - CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT etc. So for my college, I applied through my CAT score. Now for the admission process, the institute follows a rigorous procedure, which starts when you clear the merit list, by scoring a standard percentile which the institute decides, if you appear in the merit list, you’ll be called to appear in the next process which is GD, extempore and Personal Interview. I appeared for my admission process in the year 2018, in the month of March.
