UCER Allahabad Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Admissions to the B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) program at United College of Engineering & Research (UCER) can be secured through the JEE Mains examination or via direct admission. The college is affiliated with AKTU and participates in the UPTAC counselling process, allowing candidates to gain admissions based on JEE Mains ranks. Additionally, candidates with an income below 8 LPA can avail of a tuition fee waiver during counselling if they secure a favorable rank.

The eligibility criteria include a Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, requiring candidates to have secured more than 55% marks. A minimum board percentage of 45% is also accepted for direct admissions. The admission procedure involves filling out an online or offline application, followed by an entrance test, which is regarded as medium level, and an interview. There is scope for room to negotiate scholarships during counselling, particularly for those entering via UK counseling.

Reservation benefits are applicable during the counselling process. The JEE Mains cutoff is relatively low, allowing for broader access even at lower percentiles. Direct admissions are also available despite the option to participate in UPSEE counselling under certain conditions.
