Likes

There is a visit of guest faculty teachers from IIT Kanpur that makes the institute very good.
Students can find a good company for an internship for which they have to pay.
However, they were unable to establish a good placement cell and provide enough/good placements.

Dislikes

Internship programmes are not available at our college. There is no culture for internships here. This makes our college the worst for such opportunities. Therefore, it is not advisable to rely on the college faculty for placement.
Companies visit over here. The placement rate is 0% over here. Its a hell and waste of money at UIET Kanpur.
Such help is available for students. If anyone wants help from the university, they only give dates. They dont provide support; instead, they used to talk in very poor language. Even the government gives scholarships, but last year the Uttar Pradesh government did not give scholarships.

Uiet CSJM University experience

Likes

Campus is very good and clean with trees all around.
Faculty is caring and encouraging to students.
Facilities like bank, cafe , hostel inside the campus.

Dislikes

Physics faculty is not up to the mark here .
Medicinal garden is not good and maintained.
Gym and swimming pool fees is high for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want a to a technical career. Each department has its own teachers. Most teachers are Ph.D. qualified. Each semester has quizzes, sessionals, assignments, and end sem exams. Overall it's not tough to pass here.

Likes

Infrastructure of this institute is very impressive.
Well equipped labs and classroom make it more satisfying.
Dedication of the faculties to push students.

Dislikes

Few teachers are strict to theory giving less importance to practical.
Seniors are less supportive to juniors in terms of studies.
Quality of mess food that need to be more good.

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for campus placement. This year companies like Walmart, INFOSYS, TCS and RSPL visited the campus. The highest package this year is 23 LPA and the average is 6-7 LPA. CSE AND IT students' placement percentage is around 80 -90%. This is quite less in other departments. Even I'll sit for on-campus placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

All courses are fine but in this college cse department is good. Student-faculty is good. Some of the faculties are nice and highly qualified but some are not. Exams are conducted time to time, each semester is completed in maximum of 6 months here passing exams is really tough because checking done by the professor is really hard

Placement Experience:

From your 6th semester, you become eligible to sit for the placements. Only IT companies offer a good package of around 4LPA to 8LPA and some marketing companies offer sales executive job and also offers a package of around 3LPA to 6LPA. You need to have at least 65% or 6.75 CPI overall to become eligible for placements. I plan to go into the educational field.

UIET Kanpur is very best college of tier 3 college

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest is always in electronics so that why is choose this course. Faculty of our college is very good and well trained.there three time exams in one semester. It's difficulty is very average. .

There are companies like Flipkart, Google, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL and others that come to the campus for placements. The average package provides is 4 lac per annum and the highest package is 16 lac per annum. 75% of students are placed in tech fields.
