MITAOE: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 7 Reviews

Admission to MITAOE's Chemical Engineering program can be secured via the interview process, Maharashtra State Merit List based on MHT-CET scores, or national entrance exams like IIT-JEE. Admissions are through the CAP round process on the DTE website, including document verification and fee submission. Known for its strong placements, MITAOE ranks within the top 10 for Chemical Engineering. Faculty are highly regarded, many holding PhDs or M.Tech degrees, and are noted for their teaching passion and industry insights.

The annual fee for general category students is approximately Rs. 1.5 lakh, among the highest in Pune, with fees historically increasing yearly. Hostel, exam, and library fees are additional, totaling around Rs. 1 lakh. Placement activities are managed by the main Kothrud campus, with a placement cell improving student readiness. Annually, 86% of students are placed, with average packages at 7 LPA and the highest at 15 LPA. IT/COMP students have average packages of 3.5 to 4 LPA.

Core branches see increased placements in roles like Data Analytics and R&D. Notable recruiters include Honeywell, TCS, and Cognizant. Scholarships such as the EBC and TFWS are available, with eligible students receiving fee reductions. The college facilitates educational loans but does not offer them directly.
