The college also offers Direct Entry to 2nd year B.Tech. courses. • Passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
• Passed a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought.
• Obtained score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by IIT.
• For sponsored candidates, a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
  For Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries, Foreign Nationals
• Passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government Approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50 % marks

MITAOE Pune Ph.D. Admission 2025

MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE), Pune, offers admission to its Ph.D. programs based on GATE, UGC-NET, or entrance examinations conducted by the institute itself.

MITAOE Pune Admission Process-

• The candidate must successfully register for the admission process on the MITAOE official portal.
• Candidates should qualify with a minimum score of 50% in the MITAOE PhD Entrance Test (MPET).
• Exemption in MITAOE PET: He or she must obtain a qualified score in the Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology and/or in SPPU PET.
• The candidate who secured 50% in the MITAOE PET, GATE qualified, or SPPU PET qualified will be eligible for an interview.
• The shortlisted candidate list will be displayed by MITAOE after the shortlisting process.
• The shortlisted candidate must enroll before the last date of enrollment.
