Matrusri college

Likes

I liked the place where clg was there because we can have all facilities.
I also like my faculty members they we take special care on our studies.
I also like my course because of the my dream can be become into reality from this course .

Dislikes

I was disappointed by seeing my clg playground.

Placement Experience:

We can do an internship in the 6th sem and we have different companies offering the placements if we have good knowledge of our course we can secure good placement irrespective of the college placement highest package was 30 lakhs from our course.

Everything you need to know about Matrusri Engineering college

Likes

I like the cleanliness that is maintained at every corner of the college.
Several events are conducted on different aspects.
Friendly faculty makes it easy to approach them and consult regarding any subject related issues.

Dislikes

Placements in this college are a major red flag as highest being 14.95 LPS.
Campus is very small, which makes it look a local UG college.
No proper guidance from the management until you approach them yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of this college are very friendly and approachable. The teaching skills of most teachers are very good but I find a few teachers struggling to explain concepts. There are 2 mid-exams during each semester conducted on a 1 or 1-and-a-half-month window. The CSE branch contains 3 sections and different faculty for each section of the same subject is provided.

The fest's, canteen food, social activities and gatherings, lab facilities, indoor games etc.
Supports and encourages us to participate in conferences and competitions at all levels.
College is ready to provide funds and other amenities for innovation & research.

Dislikes

Campus placements (can improve especially for civil, mech and eee)
No open gates and pretty packed timetable. very less time allocated for games and extra - curricular.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good from IT and CSE students. For them, campus placements start in the 6th semester. Companies visited TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, and many startup companies. Avg package is around 4Lpa. CSE and IT pretty good number of students being placed. For Civil, Mech and EEE the campus placements aren't really great (maybe 2 to 3 companies show up for civil). I'm applying for jobs off campus.

Well and good

Likes

Infrastructure is well and good especially the garden.
Campus Life is also good.The ambience and all feels good.
Faculty teaching is far better to understand than to study books.

Dislikes

The on thing I disliked is we have fests but very less.
Some times we feel like confused and tensed at the time of exams .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen computer science as I am interested in coding.Talking about faculty student ratio it's fair enough.Qualification of faculty is almost everyone has done their PhD as of my knowledge,their teaching is also good explains everything in detail.The term exams will be conducting frequently after half of the portion is done.some times it feels like difficult to pass the exams but if we give time to study and understand the concept it is easy to pass.

A good college for engineering aspirants!!

Likes

Faculty are very friendly and experienced
Campus has serene environment and greenary
Placements are good if we are qualified enough

Dislikes

Campus is small could be a bit more spacious
Fests are very less like only once an year only

Placement Experience:

Almost 80% of students get placed in our college with an average of 4lacs package. We have placement drives conducted for 4th years. Usually placements start in 7th sem and even before that is the 6th sem.

MECS review

Likes

Faculty was very good as they taught us not only from the textbook but also from outer resources which helped us in gaining a good knowledge.
Friend and the student clubs were very awesome which helped us in gaing communication skills .

Dislikes

Attendence is mandatory for all the students and we have no time for other activities.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are not much worth but this year they have introduced a new training institute for getting placements and we had a lot of companies preferring our resume and coding skills with a very good package. and the average package of our college had a tremendous increase.

The faculty and their teaching is quite good and they are also very cooperative
The college provides placements and they provide training by monitoring us regarding our progress
The campus environment is good and hygienic

The college doesnt conduct much if fests

Over 70% student get placements in our collage

Dislikes

The collage was too small to conduct any event

Placement Experience:

The student are eligible from 6th semester to grab the job opertunity. Company's like delloit, Wipro, bosh, and TCS, there are a total of 30 companies that have a profile in our collage. The highest package is 15LPA in our college. About 70% of the student got placed. After completing my degree I will go abroad for my future studies.

My experience at MECS

Likes

Faculty members are fabulous and the environment the make is also excellent they teach us subject oriented things.

Placement Experience:

After their 6th semester students are eligible for their campus placements. Wipro, cognizant, genc, genc next, genc elevate, and Razropay are the different companies that approach our college. Almost 60-70% of students get placed in on-campus placements. I want to work for 2 years and then I am planning to study abroad.

Likes

Faculty is somewhat good and also mainly course
If we study well the placements will be good
And I like my friends very much in matrusri college

Dislikes

Mainly is they are not encouraging the sports
Canteen food is very bad and their are no non veg items in canteen
Their is no big ground in our college.This should be improve

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes, the course and curriculum are good. They are giving good timings for all of that. They are managing everything like sports and extracurricular activities like that. I choose CSE because I like to go through the software side. And I want to be a good SOFTWARE ENGINEER.
