- KCET 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result has been published on the official website, @cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates can exercise their choices between Aug 21 - Sept 03, and the last date to pay the fees is Sept 04. Candidates can download their admission orders and report to their allotted institutes by Sept 05
- COMEDK 2024 Round 3 Seat Cancellation can be done between Sep 01 - 03, whereas the choices can be edited between Sep 04 - 06 on the officical website @comedk.org. The Round 3 Seat Allotment Result, Decision Making anf Fee Payment will be done between Sep 12 - 14.
- For B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions have been concluded.based on Karnataka DCET Scores
- Karnataka PGCET 2024 revised exam dates for M.Tech will be released soon. Meanwhile, MBA exam has concluded successfully on August 4 and the final answer key was published on August 16.

Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology was founded in the year 2008 in Mangalore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technology University, Belgaum.
Alvas Engineering College offers BE course of four-year duration with five specializations, MBA course with four specializations and M.Tech with three specializations respectively.
- Candidates who have completed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognized Board are considered eligible to get admission to BE course.
- Admission to BE program is given through KCET or COMEDK-UGET.
- Candidates with Diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for BE Lateral Entry program.
- Admission to BE Lateral Entry is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates who hold Graduation Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to MBA course.
- Candidates with BE or B.Tech degree in relevant discipline are considered eligible to get admission to the M.Tech program.
- Selection of the candidates for MBA course is done through KMAT/ CAT/ KEA-PGCET.
- For M.Tech program, candidate is selected through the KEA-PGCET score.
- Admission to Management quota seats will be given on the basis of VTU norms.

Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology offers BE course of two-year duration with 5 specializations.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognized Board are considered eligible to join BE course. Those who are seeking admission to BE Lateral Entry program must have completed three-year Diploma with at least 50% marks.
Admission to the course is given through KCET or COMEDK-UGET. The college admits candidates directly to the second year of the course on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.

Alvas Engineering College MBA and M.Tech Admission 2023
Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology offers full-time MBA in four specializations and M.Tech course in three specializations of two-year duration each. Candidates who completed Graduation in any discipline with not less than 50% marks are eligible to get admission to MBA course. Students who hold BE or B.Tech Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University are considered eligible to apply for admission to the M.Tech program.
Admission to MBA course is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in Karnataka-PGCET, KMAT or CAT. Selection for admission to M.Tech course is done through Karnataka-PGCET.

Candidates can download the application form from the official website of the college.
How to Apply
- Go to the website of the college and click on “Admission” tab.
- Click on the “Admission Form” button of the respective course.
- Download and take out the print of the application form.
- Fill in all the details and attach the mandatory documents.
- Attach the fee receipt along with the form.
- Submit it via post.

It's easy to like for a management seat it's First to come First preference and for cet through you get to check out the cutoff. Admission takes place rapidly and the admission takes place rapidly and the admission.

You will get applications in college. The application fee is around 200. I wrote the CET exam but I opted for this college, this college does not have any entrance exams for engineering courses. I didn't do any reservations.

I had not applied for any colleges before and I entered the alvas college by management seat with my pu percentage as direct admission. The admission process went good and we had to provide the percentage score and the cet ranking during the counselling day and there is no minimum marks or age but we have to clear the pu with more than 50%.

I completed my PU in Alvas and I joined the AIET to continue my education. Even though I joined through a management quota the college fees I pay is equal to the CET fees. The admission criteria are very simple.

After my K-CET Exams finished i got seat for CSE Branch under SN(Supernumerary) Quota in the first round of counsilling and finished with all the admission process of the college with in that week only and the admission process was nice.

I had Applied for 3 colleges but I got offer from AIET I had joined in GN quota Admission was very nice and in a systematic way. After admission, they took us to show hostel and gave good services. I had a Good experience during my 4years of academic

Management amount is less compare to other colleges, It take long process to payment and geting recipients, It has very good for cultural activities.
Remarks:
Famous for good education, Hostel, food and strict rules. People's are sweet in there and good atmosphere for enjoying student life. Moodbidri is perfect match for cheap best sea food.Fun with good education.

Because I was intrested so I joined this course, this Institution is very student-friendly Institution, like the example, there maybe be any problem related to studies or even it is other than studies you can discuss with anyone in college and it will be solved, or u even can call chairman to if any problem you face, I got the seat in this college through entrance exam kcet and they called me to come to college to complete admission process I was told fill the admission form and to past photo on the admission form and handover it in office.
Admission:
Based on merit list, students can get themselves admitted here. Carry all required docs and will need pay deposit including the intial fees for college hostel and uniform. Yes, uniform is required. Formals are worn in final years. Also, there is a CET (common entrance exam) where students if get a high rank they can get good college. Around 2010, I got admitted there. It was a good experience.
