An average college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not that great it is quite out dated and it has not been updated in a couple of years however they are updating the curriculum nowadays but it does not have a greater impact on the curriculum and it is easy to learn ever but technology that we learn in our classes is not that applicable in the practical field and we have to allocate extra time from our daily schedule to study topics that will be helping us in the future.

Experience at IET- DAVV

Likes

The culture of the institute. Faculties were supportive and well versed with their subjects.
There were a lot of activities and clubs organized by the students.
The culture of the college contributed to an all round personality development

Dislikes

The infrastructure could have been better maintained by the admin.
Mess food and hostel facilities can be improved a lot.
More well built labs are needed for practicals

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by the college are good. there is a centralized placement cell that supports the students for there placements. Big names in the IT industry also come to the college for placements. Deutsche Bank, ZS Associates, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture etc. all come to the college for placements. The placement report of the college is also good.

The placements are good . The average package of my branch is 8 lpa . The student placement ratio is very good in IET DAVV Indore. This year 700 students are placed from 1000 . And the ratio is quite good

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after 3rd year.Many companies visit our campus such as TCS , DB bank, BARCLAYS,etc. highest package ranges from around 20-30lakhs. Percentage of students getting placements is 95%.

It's all about experience

Faculty is good which helps us to built aour future good
Placement ratio is also good,many companies visit our college to take the students
Our campus environment is also good,everyone is helpful

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that muchh good it need some things to be change
In some labs equipments are not avaialable
There is some net issues in some departments building

From the 6 semester only students become eligible for campus placement Barcallus,db bank and many others Almost 400 student were placed evey year Highest package is 20lpa and avg is 4 lpa 75% student get palcements I also go for the palcements only

Lack of sports facilities ,there is no such facility
Canteen , insufficient sitting arrangement
Library , only two books per semester

Placement Experience:

More than 95% studenets get their placement from college itself . The companies which visited campus was Mu-sigma , Tata Technologies ,incture technology, Mahindra Combiba, AmDocs, prism cement, and many more.

You are eligible from the fifth semester which is in the third year of your college for campus placements. Most of the students of the college will get placements and the average package is around seven lakhs twenty-nine thousand.

Green and supporting atmosphere

Likes

Supporting behaviour of teachers and other staff
Green and calm environment of campus with Beauty of birds peacock

We can't get easily books or study materials
Infrastructure is old no proper repairings
75 percentage attendance is mandatory in clases

From the 4th year students can appear for the campus placements.there are many companies visited like Wipro,Mahindra , Infosys, by jus and many others.Highest package of IET DAVV is 21lacks and average is 7.29 lakh .the percentage of students getting placed is 70. my plan is to placed in a good company with high package

My College IET DAVV experience

Likes

I liked the helping nature of my friends towards others
attendance to be 75 percent is not mandatory for most of the teachers
u get free time for your studies at your hostel

Dislikes

there is no proper learning in college classes
teachers have surfacial knowledge of the subjects
most of the teachers do not take lectures properly

Placement Experience:

Placements are not too good and not too bad also. The average placment is around 6lpa and max is 20lpa.Companies like Deutsche Bank ,Barclays, Avalara, NRIfintech, Accenture, Delloite hires from our college

IET DAVV review from a student of IT Branch

Likes

Placement cell is active and supportive , decent placements
Some of the faculties are knowledgeable and helpful
College organises hackathon and help in events such as SIH

Dislikes

Worst thing is attendence, you have to maintain 75 percent
The land alloted for sports ground is just wasted

Placements in the college are decent , however due to recession there is a impact as seen everywhere , so the percentage of students getting placed is somewhat decreased other than that there are ample on campus opportunities for CS and IT branch

If you are thinking to join the Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV, Indore, then it would not be an idle choice. It is better you take a drop and take coaching and then enroll in some other college.

Do not waste your four years of study in IET DAVV or SGSITS. You will graduate from IET DAVV with not a promising placement and salary package. Invest your time and money in good coaching institutes. If you work hard and ready to complete your further studies then your year will not be wasted.

IET DAVV has good Computer Engineering and IT departments as compared to other departments. So if you are thinking to get into one of these, then it would be a better decision.
As other departments of IET DAVV will not help you gaining and acquiring any knowledge.
Faculties of IET DAVV also don’t excel in critical thinking, knowledge, skills, and others. But they are very co-operative and help students.
As compared to other colleges IET DAVV has a good reputation.
Whatever you learn from IET DAVV is from its campus environment, cultural activities, and fests. These events and activities will help to gain leadership skill, boosting your confidence, and makes you a better person.

The IET DAVV staffs are friendly, they will get you books and e-learning materials. You will surely go to make good friends here.

What are the reviews of Aakshank IET DAVV over the years?

Aakshank is the annual cultural fest of IET DAVV which is organized in the last week of February every year. This fest has been conducted since 2000 and every year the level of the fest keeps on upgrading. IET has also conducted various rock concerts where they have called top celebrities like KK, Kailash Kher, Gajendra Verma, Euphoria, DJ Willy, and many more.

Aakshank is a fest in which a plethora of events are conducted both day and night. A few day events include Paintball, Zorbing, Burma Bridge, Stunt Mania, Laser Tag, Foot Zorbing, Pinball, Street football, Street cricket, Blind date, Foosball, Angry birds, Lan gaming, Xbox, etc. There are several other outstanding events which are conducted in the college auditorium like Inter and Intra College Dance (Naach), Singing (Vaani), Skit Competition (Adaakari), and Kavi Sammelan.

With the success of Aakshank every year, this fest is receiving many sponsors which will make the next season a big hit.

The celebrity performers are the major attraction of the fest. Though there is a ticket system. If you want to see the live celebrity performance, you have to buy a ticket for Rs. 100. Many other colleges charge even more than that. In fact, DJ night is also charged at various colleges. So, the budget point of Aakshank is quite pocket-friendly.
Aakshank has a larger crowd than any other fest conducted in IET whether it is Fluxus or any other minor fest. Even the enthusiasm in the crowd set the vibes to another level.
Apart from DJ Night and Star Night, there are many other adventurous events that are totally free of cost.
Every year, this fest brings something unique like in the year 2019, India’s best comedian, Zakhir Khan performed at Aakshank.
Not only the performers, but the participants are also very energetic during the events.
There is a special social media team who are made to share posts and pamphlets timely on social media to keep everyone updated. The creative team as well as a promotional team make sure to bring the best out of the fest by promoting the required content related to the fest timely.

For a student of IET DAVV, Aakshank is a big thing, it’s not just a fest but it's an emotion that each student lives. With the dedicated team, Aakshank is growing every year and will remain the best fest of Central India always.
