My college has this very good thing of Encouraging students to do new things
Like i have seen my seniors and my classmates coming with different skills and my college administration has really support them. My college introduce the faces that were not very good at academics but they have really made it in their life.
It provides very good scope for sports and other cultural activities too.in one way or other it forces you to come out of your comfort zone that i myself experience

Dislikes

One thing I really don't like is they are giving admissions till the starting of the mid-semester test that makes makes a new student to feel unprepared and due to which the test doesn't go well and it affect their academics
My college is really big and beautiful, but there are some blocks where hygienic is not maintained
Network issu\nE has been one of the problem that is faced by most of the students and also\nThe administration is little slow to provide us information about scholarships which was the very 1st problem faced by us

I had Applied in various colleges. I was getting jc Jabalpur Engineering College, but the condition of Jaunpur miram college is really bad, and I didn't feel the areas safe, and also it is in the place which is much farther than my own house, so it's somewhere. Create a sense of insecurity inside me , whereas indore Is the business capital of MP Madhya Pradesh and DPV is the second best college in Madhya Pradesh? I was getting RGI PT too, but again the distance problem, and it was not into my interest. One of the things of taking this college was the branch that I was getting, that is CS BS that really facilitates her. And it was not available in other colleges that makes me take IT DA bb also the highest package and average package as compared to the colleges that I was getting was much good in ITV, and as a city Indore is safe and really has potential. That it would make me a personality that I really want to became.And it would take out my potential

The crowd of the colleges awesome and also the teachers are well qualified and supportive
The placement cell of the college is very good and the it provides various opportunities. also many good companies visit college each year
The curriculum of the college is updated as well as what is taught is asked in exams so it is easy to score good CGPA

Dislikes

The campus and infrastructure needs improvement
Attendance policy should be quite lenient
Sports facilities should be updated and more goods should be brought to the campus

Admission:

At my rank in JEE this was the best option I choose. And I never regret being a part of this college and a part of this branch. The placement opportunities as well as the average city of this branch is very good. Also with the increasing rise in the demand of semiconductors and involvement of our prime minister in this field , the electronic in telecommunication branch is definitely going to get a boom in future. Cutoff for this branch was around 92000 last year for general male.

The infrastructure is not very good, even if it has lot of campus area.
Its library is the best place to visit often.
The faculties are supportive, kind and helps you in all sort of things.

Dislikes

Old unrepaired buildings, which can be repaired even though.
Hostels are not maintained properly and girls hostel are worst
The campus life is less than expected to be honest.

Admission:

This college comes under the best college in Madhya Pradesh. According to my rank and category it is best choice to pursue the b.tech course. The placements are decents and doesn't make any fuss around like the other private colleges for their placements and infrastructure. This college has its own centralized placement cell.

The faculty of IET DAVV are known for their qualifications and experience and also they have various degrees.
The college provides good exposure and compus life.
There is good placement opportunities provided by the college

Dislikes

There is limited seats in college hostel
College hostel seats are based on first come first serve .
There is too much politics inside the college.

Admission:

Other than this students also apply for SGSITS , LNCT BHOPAL , MANIT BHOPAL and other IITS and NITS from JEE advance and Mains . Students prefer IET DAVV due to its fees and other factors are it is government institute and its fees structure is also good means low.

One thing I like most about this college is dedicated placement cell
Second thing is it's not hectic as private colleges are like you will get free time also so that you can do extracurricular activity
Must say if you are in the campus of IET you have multiple opportunities seminars,events organized by college

Dislikes

Infrastructure need to be improved, building needs renovation
Poor management like if there is no class tomorrow they don't inform about it officially
Teaching quality of some teachers like some teachers are really good but some are just they come and teach, understand it the way you want

Admission:

DAVV is top university in M.P. and IET DAVV is second best college for engineering in MP so no doubt it is better that private college like LPU, VIT I would suggest try for this college instead of those typical private college you can check jee cutoff from websites.I applied for some colleges in other state like YMCA faridabad, UIET chandigarh but I chose IET bcs I found it better than those colleges and believe me it was my best decision. Every college has it's pros and cons but in IET, I found pros are more powerful than cons so if you are not getting into NIT IIT and not getting college from jac delhi then try for it.

The campus is big enough for the students to roam around and different branches and departments have there own different blocks soo students of single branch including all years study in single block soo there is good chances of interection
Most of the teachers are friendly soo they will be easy to talk to and you can learn and study more efficiently
Sports and other extra curricular activities are also available

Dislikes

Building are little old and need repainting
Main gate of the college is not recognisable soo need to work on that
Need a canteen on the campus that I think is the most important thing

This college is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh and the plus point is that it is a university soo you get many benefits from that to . The teaching here is good , the environment is good and most importantly the placement is also good if you are dedicated and hard working.

College Life : A Simple Review of College and Hostels of College.

Likes

Many faculty members are experienced in their feilds.
They use both of Teaching methods like Lectures and Presentations.
Campus having active Clubs And societies like NSS(where i edit videos).

Dislikes

Some of Lab Equipment, especially in technical labs , is outdated.
Administrative tasks, such as getting approvals or resolving issues with scholarships , or hostel regarding matters .
The canteen and other recreational spaces could be improved in terms of Quality.

Admission:

IET DAVV is recognizing as one of the best engineering colleges in Madhya Pardesh with a reputation for strong academics and decent placement opportunities. I applied to a few colleges , but i could not get addmission near my town . There Admission process easy and Entrance Exams Accepted - JEE Main is the primary entrance exam accepted for admission into B.Tech at IET DAVV. Admission Process is Offline counselling then seat allotment and then Document Verification .

I like the tress and nature in our college the way it is between so many tress it gives the complete feel of nature
Events and all like E sangam , Rass (garba), hackathons, and many more to explore

It's an old college so the infrastructure is also kinda old
It's just a tier 2 college not so many decent packages

I choose this college cause it's a government affiliated college and it has a preety good placement also there are only top 2 colleges for engineering in madhya pradesh and this comes 2nd after sgsits so I choosed this .

The first the thing that I liked about the college is the students and batchmates we get to learn around are all bright minded people. The college provides holistic development to everybody.
The campus is quite large and has a lot of greenery around. There are several blacks for several branches. The social interactions in college are pretty good.
Since I'm in the pioneer batch of the newly introduced CSBS course I don't know the placement scenario yet but the professor had promised us to be seated in every company coming for CS & IT branches.

Dislikes

I didn't disliked anything particularly because it's totally a individual perspective but if I'd to improve something I would say that the college should make their own basketball and tennis courts.

Admission:

Besides the IITs and NITs in Madhya Pradesh, IET DAVV and SGSITS are the two most renowned government aided institutes. I had the option to choose between Mechanical of SGSITS and CSBS of IET-DAVV, but due to my childhood intrest in coding and computers I chose CSBS over mechanical engineering. The admission process in this specific branch was not through the MPDTE counselling, there was a seperate CSBS counselling provided for it.

Yes, it is possible to get into any of these colleges with this rank, be it SGSITS or IET DAVV. But you wouldn't get into the branch according to your choice. It only depends on the number of seats available for each branch and the number of students applying for a particular branch.

With a score of 120 in JEE Mains and 91.2% in CBSE, you are fit for the IT or EC branch in IET DAVV in the second round of counseling by DTE.

In the past, students have got the IT/EC branch at such scores or even less. I have a friend who is an alumnus of IET DAVVa and his score was 125 in JEE and 87% in MP board.

There’s a good chance that you will be selected. As for SGSITS, with this rank, you can easily get any branch you like.

It would be a bit difficult to get listed in both the colleges, but in college-level counseling, there is still a 50% chance. A friend of mine got admission to the EI branch at IET DAVV with a rank of AIR 1,60,000 (general category) through CLC.

You might get branches like EI, Biomedical, etc. You can get these branches in college-level counseling or even in the second round. But it’s risky. If you fail to get in, you may have to drop a year. My friend got lucky with the seat. I will only recommend going for it, if you are willing to drop a year or have other alternatives.

My rank is 30961 in JEE Mains. Can I get CSE in IET DAVV?

With a JEE Main rank of 30961, you have a good chance of getting CSE. According to the recent trends of IET DAVV cutoff, the opening and closing ranks for CSE were 30635 and 41692 respectively. If you don’t get CSE in the first round, you should get it in the second round of counseling. Naturally, the required cutoff changes every year depending on various factors.

The short answer is no. My brother is currently studying mechanical engineering at IET-DAVV. He got AIR 63000 rank in the general category and still had to struggle a lot to get admission.

From the above closing and opening ranks, you can easily estimate how fierce the competition goes. None of the branch ranks goes up to even 90,000 thus securing a seat with a rank of 316000 is not possible at all. The best recommendation is to try in private colleges or prepare for the next year.

I have a few friends from IET DAVV Indore, and according to them, if your general merit list rank is 19k then there are good chances for admission at the institute.

According to the recent cutoff trends, the cutoff required for OBC category students for the CSE branch was 104614-203621.

For selection, the institute gives first preference to OBC and the UR (Un-reserved) people with NCL.

If you didn’t get in by the first round you will get CSE in the second round. For more details regarding cutoff visit the official website of IET DAVV. Hope this helps.

As per the previous analysis of the JEE score, you can get the IET Indore with the 85 percentile. For applying to the B.E (Full-Time) program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 75% of aggregate marks and also qualify for the JEE Mains examination. Admissions to B.E courses are carried out by DTE, MP. Candidates can register online for the same at the website of DTE.
