A blgood and bad colleges

Likes

I like the library it consists of a huge collection of books.
I like the garden it have large amount of flowers and plants
The placement and training cell is very good

Dislikes

The curriculum is just a waste syllabus .
It doesn't have proper sports facilities
It doesn't good labs especially chemistry and physics labs

Admission:

I didn't get admission from good colleges like thangal kunju musliyar engineering college thiruvanathapuram government engineering college Thrissur government engineering college etc.etcm I got this college from keam ranking procedures.

Likes

some teachers are great ,they teaches well
some of the seniors are also friendly towards us
rading in the campus is strictly prohibited

Dislikes

some teachers doesnt teaches they just ran through the syllabus
also some teachers doesnt give internals
there is no good events and support from some teachers

Admission:

this college is an average college and not bad based on other colleges we can get admission based on descent rank in KEAM exam faculty support can make this college better. But most of them are not doing it

The cafe inside the college is one of the saviour
The students and faculties are so nice and friendly. made many great friends and many memories there so social interaction are very good teachers are friendly and nice vibe
Very good and friendly teachers and very qualified

Dislikes

Very poor lab conditions almost everything is old and won't work
Very less events and programs are there for students
Poor structures and poor ground for sports

Admission:

Our college is very good and one of the top ihtd college in Kerala it is very difficult to get admission here I didn't get any other colleges due to low keam rank. Admission process is very easy there are 3 rounds and u will enter the college of officialy after 3rd round

it is very affordable comparing to other colleges in India

the fees is very affordable comparing to other private colleges in Kerala.
hostel food is very delicious ,goodand hygienic
it has a library with a large amount of books

Dislikes

the campus life is very boring and absence of events
the campus is very small and dogs are everywhere
doesn't have proper facilities for sports

I got this college by keam ranking I applied to other colleges but I didn't get other colleges like government engineering college Thiruvananthapuram, government engineering college Thrissur, government engineering college palakkad etc .most admission is based on keam ranking,but also have management quota.it is very affordable comparing to other colleges in India

My college, college of Engineering Adoor

Likes

The faculty's are really experienced and talented. They guide in every way they can. They are happy seeing students participating in extra caricullar activities. They also give guidance for various groups like ASME,IEEE.
The labs are all really good and we can learn a lot and all the machines are working and it's one of the biggest lab (mechanical department) in the area. All the staff in the labs are so highly skilled and knowledgeable about and very cooperative.
Sports is very important and the grounds are good. We have a basketball, badminton, football, volleyball and a table tennis Arena.

Dislikes

The gym is not maintained well, they should add more equipments and maintain the old machines.
The should establish a better canteen and expand the menu.
They should clean the parking area above and make it more accessible.

I choose this college because it was the best college in my area and I wanted to stay near my house. I applied to a lot of colleges like CET, Barton Hill and I am got admission there but I didn't go. I wanted to stay near my parents. Which was a good decision. I got into all the colleges I gave but I choose this college. When comparing with other Colleges , my college doesn't have much campus area or the strength, or that much exposure but it had heart and a bunch of really good facutilies. The admission process is like this After 12th you have to write KEAM , you have to qualify that is 12 marks and according to your rank you can get seats here. Merit seats - below 25k Management seat- above 25k You have to apply online and after the allotment you can come to the college and complete the admission, the faculty and the senior students will help u through this process. My admision experience was good, the process was fast

Honest review about my college

Likes

Great college with good facilites.The labs are well maintained and the equipments are advanced and efficient.
The different community like ieee,nss groups are very much active in our college and contributed towards my growth as a professional as well as a social being
The faculty and management are very supportive and freindly

Dislikes

The sports department of our college is not very well maintained
the hostels of our college are not upto standards

Admission:

Students are admitted through the KEAM exam. The cut-off for the merit seat, when I got admission, was 11,000 for general and 20,000 for non-general students. All the details about the admission can be downloaded from the college's official site or KEAM site. The admission process is a bit laggy and can take time. My recommendation is to have a specific timetable for a batch of different students for the admission process than to have everyone come for admission on the same date.

Likes

The college infrastructure, I like that place and the building
Faculties, most faculties are so friendly
The clubs and events provided by the clubs

Dislikes

There is not enough parking facility for students
It's is hard to get the permission to conduct programs or events at college auditorium and during class hours
There are many unnecessary regulations including timing to use some college facilities

Admission:

The admission process is mainly by entrance exam and there is also management quota.The fees for management quota is almost double than the merit quota. The allotment process is done through the KTU University portal and college is allotted according to the rank of the entrance exam.There is a fee of 10000 should be paid to the University, if you got a merit admission with a fee of 35000 period year. The admission process takes around 3 to 5 hours at the allotted college. We have to fill the application, other consents, etc.

The admission process was simple. regular procedures. I applied to this college because it is within 15 km of my house. I have got admission to the merit quota. I would like to say the college is decent. Not top notch but an average college.

An Overview of My College

Admission:

I had applied to colleges under IHRD which includes the Model Engineering College, College of Engineering Chengannur and College of Engineering Attingal (CEAL) and College of Engineering Adoor. When the results of the first allotment came out, I got into CEAL. I temporarily got admission into that college and waited for the next allotment. I got into the college of Engineering Adoor in the second allotment and I took admission permanently since it was nearer to my place and I also got affordable hostel facilities. Also, there were good and on-time public transport services available. I got into the BTech Computer Science stream in the Merit Quota. To get admission in the first or second allotments themselves, you need a valid Keam score and rank anywhere between 15000 and 25000 atleast. You will be able to get into the merit quota with a good rank if not getting into the management quota is also easy. The faculties and student volunteers assisted me and my parents on the counselling day.

Admission:

Admissions are carried out on the basis of the ranks obtained in the All Kerala Common Entrance Examinations, conducted by the Controller of Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala. The college follows a 50-50 method of admission from both merit and management streams. A significant number of students in the management stream is filled by children of NRIs.[citation needed]When the college started in 1995, it had a 90-10 breakup of merit and management streams. However, the merit students were required to pay a refundable deposit (at the end of the course) of one hundred thousand rupees which was utilized for infrastructure development in the college.
