Not much more a burden for the parents to pay this and every type of scholarship is available here which is best .
I liked some helpful and very good teachers, they really help in exams like giving selection
Eligibility was based on jee rank , reservation were made accordingly, the environment is quite competitive, faculties are student friendly and helpful towards others .

Dislikes

Placement facility is very very bad highest in campus package is rarely 6-7 lakh only known company came here is tata power with 6.1lpa package.
The hostel mess is very bad and they are not provide good food.
Placement is very average in our college they provide no internship

College Life

Likes

I liked the greenery of my college, its gardens, trees etc.

Dislikes

I disliked the teaching system of my college with no extra opportunities from outside of the college.
The hostels of this college are not fit for a human being to survive.
The college does a lot of boys girls partiality . The college does not allow girls to participate in sports competition of other colleges.

Placement Experience:

Students are generally eligible from the 6th semester but get opportunities from only a few companies. Companies visited are TCS, Cognizant, Tata, Apmosys etc. The highest on-campus package offered till now is 9 lakhs per annum while the lowest offered is 2 lakhs per annum. Placement percentage is nearly 50%. I am planning to apply for interviews in any software company and get placed in any software company as a software engineer.

Our college library and our regular classes
Our utility block and club activities in college program
Our college annual fest and annual sports

Dislikes

Less amount of college building and small college campus
Some rude seniors who used to behave rude with juniors
Some canteen staffs who are not cooperating

Placement Experience:

Our college placement is average. From 3rd year students start getting placed in various companies. Tata power byzus etc . There are some major companies which visit us every year. Around 85 per cent of students get placement every year

College View

Likes

I liked the Reference section of the college having I7 computers
A huge playground with both cricket and football fields included.
Hostel life is great, hanging out with friends.

Dislikes

Low class faculties teaching nothing during the course.
Girls are not allowed to field and there is no girls team representing college in sports.
College infrastrucure is bad and has least opportunities.

The placements are not much better, a few companies are coming for placements like Adani, TCS, Cognizant etc. The highest package is 12 lakhs per annum. average package is 4.5 lakhs per annum provided by Adani, cognizant etc. percentage of placements is 70%. I may study master's or opt for a job in a technical company.

Life in PMEC

Likes

The area of college is too big and the campus is also neat n clean
The gardens are beautiful and nice.

Dislikes

Placement are like average good company are not coming
Hostel room are too small and mess food are not good
We can't depend upon our lecture we have to study our own because they don't cover the syllabus

We are eligible in the seventh semester like fourth yr of the college placement 2Mahinda, tata stell, tcs, and more non branded The highest is 10 LPA and the average are 3-5 LPA 60-70% Taking a placement

This course will give you a chance to get into the core branch as well as into other IT companies that you want to go to. You will increase your communication by having types of good students in the college. And you can get a better experience of all the things in all work. The faculties are good and helpful.

It's infrastructure and about the courses thata are available.
Some of the faculties were good and very helpful to help and encourage students.
Placements were good and hope may I got a good company during placements.

Dislikes

Hostel food :- here the quantity given is less and don't give 2nd time when u say to them

Placement Experience:

From 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Tata power etc. and all other government opportunities. Now the highest package is 12LPA in the CSE branch. The average package is 3.5-3.8LPA 80%+ students get placement Apply for a GOVT job.

I liked the Clubs and the Curricular activities
The environment is green and plenty of places to play
Pretty good laboratories and equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first-year Course comprises all basic engineering subjects including mechanical, electronics, electrical, and civil. Student to faculty ratio is approximately 1 professor for every 70-80 students. Moderate to highly Qualified faculties are there. In CSE quality of faculties are pretty good. Exam difficulties are moderate. Exams happen on a semester basis and every semester has two internals.

Likes

The cultural and sports amenities are very good
Campus life in this college is very flourishing
The affordability of fees for education is good

Dislikes

The time of entry for students in hostel is very early
The student to faculty ratio could have been better
There not many basic amenities available near college

After 6th semester students are eligible for sitting in placement. The companies that visit our college are IBM, apmosys, Wipro, and tcs, etc. 70 percent of students this Yr got placed and the highest package this year was 18 lpa.

I like our college fest and tech fest exuberance. And club activities.
I also like in our college campus. The campus is very beautiful.
I like our less fees structure and college environment.

Dislikes

I don't like that our college not prefer to us internship.
I don't like college is not conducting extra courses.

Placement Experience:

After 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. The companies like Infosys, tata power, tcs, Madani, Tega, Deloitte, and others. The highest package of our college is 8-10 lakh per annum and the average package is 3-4 lakh. My plans after getting a degree doing a software job.

Likes

Environment for living, close to nature and weather here .

Dislikes

Despite of being all well managed there are department which is needed to improved inside campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the courses and curriculum are smoothly managed by faculties. Our faculty and students always create a friendly and good environment as a residential college, It's a good environment. The faculty members are well qualified and pursued their degrees from well know institutes all over Odisha. As this college is under BPUT till now and is nearly about semi-government college the academic is getting better year by year and new upcoming students can look for it.
