Admission to the institution is determined by JEE Mains and OJEE exams. Diploma holders can enter through lateral entry via the OJEE exam. The faculty is highly educated and approachable, with the Computer Science and Engineering department being particularly supportive. Annually, over 10 companies like Infosys, Samsung, and Wipro participate in campus placements, although this number can vary. Students are eligible for placements in their 8th semester. The college provides scholarships for students with lower parental income but does not offer internships.

However, students can pursue external internships at companies like SAIL, Nalco, and BSNL, though these are unpaid. The college organizes tours to SAIL, mainly for steel plant visits, with few project opportunities. Scholarships such as Prerana and Medhabruti are available based on merit and parental income. SC/ST students receive 42,000 INR per year under the Prerana scholarship, while Medhabruti offers 10,000 INR for general caste students. The fee structure includes an annual hostel fee of 25,000 INR and college fees of 30,000 INR.

The first semester hostel fee is 30,000 INR, and the second semester fee is 17,000 INR. Students must also pay 10,000 INR to the OJEE website and 29,990 INR to the college through the SBI collect website.
