The campus of our college is very nice. Everywhere there is greenary.
Faculty of each and every subject is very supportive and solves students doubt immediately

Dislikes

The lectures get cancelled any time so the localites day gets very hectic.

Admission:

The admission process in COEP college was very much sorted and when any student come for the admission the faculties here or the members of the admission speak very fluently and softly with the student and the student clearly gets what he/she exactly want to do in the admission process. I think that this is the best college, because in this college there is equal balance between the events and academics. There are many clubs in our college which are technical as well as non-technical. Everyone gets chance to participate in the events.

COEP - Another Life for College

The campus of our college which was divided into 2 sides of road and it's greenery and architecture of each branch building.
Technical Fest that motivated youngsters to showcase their potential including MindSpark, COEP Zest, Impressions and the Gathering that used to make our college life memorable with full of events and activities
Relative Grading in CGPA for each subjects where grade range for each pointer was decided on relative performance of all batch students

Dislikes

Lectures especially the theory lectures during afternoon time after lunch was a challenge to listen and be attentive and focused.
Student section members of college were to some extent rude when it comes to handling with documentation work.
Hostel rooms especially of first year H block were not that much good and clean.

Admission:

I chose this college after when my MHT CET 2019 results were announced and my percentile was declared, after that I had option to choose the branch and college. Getting a good percentile in MHT CET with SC Category made me eligible to choose COEP College which is among the best colleges of Maharashtra that not only promotes technical educations but also shapes youngsters personality through various technical clubs, fests etc which is important for growth.

The college of engineering pune (coep) is the best college and for most of candidates coep is dream college as like me. As the point of view of education and placement this is the best college. Candidate have must be crack the cutoff range for admission.

COEP Technological University through my eyes.

Likes

The campus area is huge and the college architecture is very nice.
There are more than 40 clubs and many sports complexes.
A lot of events happen in the college and they happen on a large scale.

Dislikes

Some faculty rely on old-school teaching methods so self study is often needed.
Hostel facilities are not as modern as newer private universities.
High cutoffs and tough enterance exams make it difficult to get in.

I considered this college as this was the best engineering college in maharashtra and was also considered as the top college for mechanical engineering. This college offers a strong alumni network, bright students, very good sports facilities and events as compared to other colleges. To apply for COEP, one would have to give MHT-CET exam or JEE exam.

I liked the college campus a lot, it is really good and gives a really good vibe, we friends like to spend time in the campus together in any of the 2 canteens present in the college, the campus is full of trees and greenery .
The college has really competitive students and good and smart peer group which is a really good thing.
The girls and boy ratio is decent, better than most of the other colleges

Dislikes

People mostly prefer to speak their local language that is marathi which makes it difficult for all india students
Few professor are really bad at teaching and neither do they give good grades
Very limited students can get college hostel

Admission:

I also applied for other colleges like iiits and nits but i wantes top branches that is cse or ece thats it so nits were not in my list, and iiits that i were getting like iiit sri city and all were new and their was campus was not yet built so the ideal option i was left with was coep.

The course which provide by college is very good level and the response of faculties with students also very communicable.
This college is not only provide academic but along with it provides fests, technical clubs ,robotics and many more
One of the best thing is the placement which maintained by this college is very at good level

Dislikes

If some students opts for hostel then they may have face accommodations issue
Sometimes most of students waste time on fests and clubs which creates ignorance towards academics
Sometimes we have to face wifi and electricity issue when ther are exams and interviews

Coep is the oldest college in india and one of the best college in Maharashtra. I preferred this because to get into this college students need 99+ percentile in CET exam . So the environment is best and along with this college have the best placement statistics.

There are more than 25 club's like the Team octane (racing car) and many more
Fest like Impression+annual fest of COEP),Zest (sports),Regata (Boat club) and many more
Overall the college infrastructure is good and placement is also good

Dislikes

The hostel infrastructure and the hostel fee is huge
The college is in a very crowded place .
Internship is not that good.Language barrier.

Admission:

I have applied for many other colleges like PICT,VJTI, VIT pune and many more. No I preferred COEP over the other colleges as COEP is the third oldest college in India and its alma mater is excellent, Also COEP is the best college in whole maharashtra that is why I choose COEP. Students have to sit for MHT-CET and cutoff is like 95 percentile above.

I liked the kind of education, the professor here are highly qualified,
It listed in top 10 best Engineering colleges in India

Some professor here are biased as they might treat student differently

Admission:

The reason i choose this college is my father and my brother , and the amount of rich education this college provides , number of opportunities this college gives is just immense we cannot compare it to any other colleges. While i applied to COEP I also applied to VJTI but they didn't had instrumentation and control course program that i wanted. Hence it was obvious COEP was best out of all. Admission process in COEP is quite systematic first it's online after online cap round if the college is allotted to you , you have to confirm it within a date given, then starts your offline admission which is also quite simple and not hectic just you need proper documents available with you . Fees as well you can pay in installments I applied of pict pune vjti but as COEP was my first Preference and I had good grades i got coep in my first attempts No i didn't got rejected in any college. As I already mention admission process first after 12th you have to give a exam called MHCET after the results you fill a online cap rounds form according to your merit u get allotted and being allotted to COEP you reserve the seat by offline admission

Instrumentation is not that easy

It's very affordable if your are SC or ST student
Teaching staff is good . They really push you to be the best version of you
You get to connect with best students from Maharashtra

Instrumentation and control engineering is not chill, it was true if you would have asked me ~8 year ago then probably I would said that it is a very chill branch but it is not.
If you pick instrumentation and control engineering branch then you have to face a subject called signals and systems which is very tough. More than half student from senior batches still not cleared this subject
Competition will be very have if you choose this branch

I choose this college because it's the best college in Maharashtra their this no doubts in that . I got this college in my cap round 1 . If I talk about cutoff which is pretty high for open category (more than 95 %) but for SC it can be upto 85%

Anna University holds over 13 constituent schools and 593 associated schools. MIT is a member of Anna University and has won various awards that include an award from the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE). COEP is an autonomous institute and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University with 725 and 342 students in the UG and PG level courses. Jadavpur University is a member of the Association of Universities of India (AIU) and has been accredited with Grade 'A' by NAAC.

Admission Process:

Anna University and MIT Chennai:

Students who obtained a minimum of 50% in PCM in 10+2 can apply for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions(TNEA) for undergraduate admissions at MIT Chennai and Anna University. For the B.Arch program, students will have to sit for the NATA entrance exam and must obtain a minimum of 50% in PCM in 10+2
Bachelor’s students with 50% marks can apply for M.Tech programs, given that they have a relevant TANCET/GATE score and is required by most universities.

College of Engineering Pune: Students with a minimum of 50% in 10+2 can sit for the MH-CET entrance exam, which will enable them to apply for an array of B.E/B.Tech programs at COEP.

Jadavpur University: For admissions into the B.Tech and B.Pharm program of Jadavpur University, students must obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 with a valid rank in WBJEE entrance test.

Cut off:

MIT Chennai:

In the year 2019, the MIT Chennai cut-off for B.E in Computer Engineering was 516 and for B.E in Automobile Engineering was 1312.
The lowest cut-off at MIT Chennai was recorded in B.E in Rubber and Plastic Technology and B.E in Automobile Engineering with 9812 and 6192 respectively.

Jadavpur University:

In the year 2019, the WBJEE cut-off for Computer Science and Engineering ranged from 49-81, and Information Technology was 104-159 in Round 1.

College of Engineering Pune:

Among all the courses in the College of Engineering Pune, the highest cut-off has been recorded in B.Tech in Computer Engineering with a cut-off of 134 in the year 2019.

Admission to the aforementioned universities can be a cakewalk if one qualifies the relevant entrance exams with standard scores. In regard to cut-off marks, universities display wide variation in their cut-off between consecutive years.

If I want to apply for admission to the Computer Science program at COEP what is the minimum JEE Main score accpeted?

You need to have 98 – 319 rank in JEE Mains which is the equivalent to 99.6%ile or more to be eligible for admission to CSE course at COEP Pune.

You need to have a rank under 3864 which is the equivalent of around 98%ile to be eligible for admission to COEP Pune B.tech course, if you’re from other state.
