Life at PCTE , an honest review

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure is justified as compared to other similar colleges because of its location, facilities, accessibility and affordablity .It is about 42000 INR per Sem when I applied for admission in 2022 .Now in 2025 , It is about 45000 INR per Sem . Enrollment is on the basis of CGPA obtained by the candidate in class 12

Bpharma fee :- 44000 per sem as decreases the amount as sem increases In 1st sem :- I paid 44400 In 2nd sem :- I paid 42270 In 3rd sem :- I paid 43750 In 4th sem :- I paid 43275 And ptu provides a Schlorship to those students who clear the Schlorship exam And they have Schlorship upto 30 thousand per sem. Pcte clg also provides intership and placements. Good clg for learning something new and complete the graduation with good placement

Life in PAU

The year wise fees is around 38k-40k yearly for general category students for SC/ST stundents its around 3k yearly.Tution fees is around 12000 plus various funds are included plus college library fees around 700, nearly 10 scolarships are given based on different criteria like merit based , rural background, reserved class etc.

Life in PCTE group of institute

The fees is around 45000 per semester and the fees increases every semester it present the fees has increased to 50000.In my class most of the students are from the general background only one student is present which is from the scholarship and he is 15000 per semester there are 10 International students in our class international student has a reserve of 20 students.Most of the students are from the Africa

Life of a college student

Firstly in the first semester the fees was 23950 with 2000 admission fees and in the 2 sem it was increased to 24150 and in the 4 semester it was increased to 24650. It think they are just increasing the fees semester by semester .

My Experience in PAU : the good & the bad

For BSc Agriculture ( Hons. ) Admission fees - 60K approx (might increase now) : including semester fees ( sem 1 ) Tution fees ( per semester ) - Around 11K Total fees per semester ( including other charges ) : 20K ( for day scholars ) ; 25K ( for hostellers ) Scholarships Available: -Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST students -Half fee concession for EWS -Half / Full fee concession for students that excel in youth festival and InterVarsity tournaments -Piara Singh Parmar Student Aid Fund -Merit Based Scholarship upto 18000/- are also provided to students who excel in academics. -GS Khush Foundation Merit Scholarship

Having said, The fees structure justifies some facilities, while some not. Per semester the fees is around 45-50k for day scholars, and 65k+ for the hostellers. The tution fees remains the same for all students, except for the students who are hostellers, as mentioned before. There are special reservations for the SC/ST students, and according to my information, the fees for them is only 5k. The scholarships are offered on the basis of academic merit, and for the sports merit, we have to complete the many levels, like attaining, college color and college merit, then we can apply for university merit. There are scarce scholarships for sportspersons, while the academic merit, there are two scholarships offered, once in 1st year, and other one in 3rd year. Other scholarships are rewarded on the basis of economic status, Gender specifications and other societal factors.
