Hardly internships are given from college so people usually go for outside placements hence no stipend one has to go for internships available outside the college. I am not much aware of internships as we didn't come across anything like that
From the end of the semesters, students become eligible for placements. One Company visited during my tenure, was Infosys. The highest Package offered was 2 lakhs per annum. My plans after getting the degree are that I will pursue my Master degree and then I will sit for the Competitive Exams.
Yes, I have worked in Internships but not through college. I joined one of the many online methods to search for work opportunities and It certainly helped me to get good experience and confidence. I worked in an unpaid internship but due to my good work they offered me another Internship but this time it was Paid.
There are no internship opportunities available at our college. There are summer projects but those are without stipend and any type of remuneration. Different subject-related projects are performed by the students and the teachers assist them in this. The types of projects that take place are very much important for one's CV.
There is a placement cell in our college. Our college offers placement in TCS, Cognizant, Wipro and in many reputed MNCs. Most students get recruited from English honours, economics honours, and computer science. I have got a job, right before my last semester, but it was off campus.
There are no internships offered from the college directly though you can always search for internships on your own and have a small earning. The usual job which you should get should be of research or content writing in economics. You should always try to do an internship in your college since it adds value to your CV and your future job. The professors always encourage you to join an internship you can always ask your professor to recommend you a company to join.

At the end of MSc or Phd, they are self placed but BSc graduates does not have placements. Mostly academic degrees are preferrable for higher studies, which our students either pursue from here or other city in India or outside.
In keeping with recent trends the college has a career counseling committee since 2002 which organises various programs for career development of aspiring students. The cell guides students in choosing the right career options in the ever expanding high-tech global job market. Major IT/BPO/MNC companies have visited the campus on recruitment drives. Over the past few years, our students have been recruited through such programs and campus interviews in high profile companies like Infosys, Tata consultancy services, Cognizant Technology solutions, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, 3G, Satyam, etc. Several foreign universities (UK/ USA/ Australia) have sent representatives and many students have applied to those universities using the placement cell platform.
