Everything about UPTTI or GCTI

Likes

Atmosphere of college is quite positive and good as people are well behaved.
Campus lies in a decent area which makes it suitable for students to get a positive atmosphere
Faculties are quite helpful and friendly and helps us with all our problem

Dislikes

College buildings are too old and withered as they were made during british era.
College canteens are quite unhygienic but expensive.
Lecture timings are very annoying as they can call us up anytime from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

I decided to get into Uptti due to several reasons one of the major reason was that it was very budget friendly and suitable for me as it wad near my home in kanpur. I could easily get the transportation facilities from walking distance from my home and college to travel.

Our worthy college

Likes

Teachers are very supportive and approachable towards students
Teaching methods and techniques are very effective and easily understood
There are various clubs which you can join to enhance skill

Dislikes

Canteen has not too much space because of this it is really difficult for us to adjust
Canteen food is not so hygeinic and taste little weird
Rules are little bit too rigid to follow it causes very much problem

Admission:

I really was not looking for any other college as it is already providing us very much knowledge and information in our field. And also there was merit list and cut off accordingly we got our admission and did not have any PI and other exams. Though I was really trying hard to go to other good college too.

Classmates and friends I made there during my course
Course of textile chemistry was specifically good
Faculties were highly educated and judiciary to the course

Infrastructure of the college was not good
Politics due to government funded college society
Placement issues. Not able to take much as per expectations

As comparing to different colleges in which I have applied , this college provided the degree at low fees structure and taught about the subject related to the everyday growth of the department and nation.

In my college infrastructure are good in college library any type of books are available

Hostel management are not good warden are careless
Food facilities are not good in my mess it ver difficult to eat
In my hostel room the chargeable are damaged but no any one to improve them so very difficult to charge mobiles laptops etc

Likes

All the sports activities that includes indoor and outdoor games are liked by me most.
All the college fest include fresher ,annual and farewell comes with season of enjoyment
Technical events that happens regularly which tells us about standards

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not good lack of some indoor courts
Mess food is not so good and always there is problem related to drinking water
There are not enough books related to syllabus of technical subjects

Admission:

Admission in my college had done by joint entrance exam score through aktu counseling.my college seat was alloted through aktu counseling process .seat acceptance fees was rs.20000.l am from general category so I didn't get any reservation benefits.i want to improve document verification process and site failure at the time of registration.

And if you can avail any reservation then also good for you and can take admission in this college the only thing is you need to clear the cut off of that exam.

I took the state entrance exam. Eligibility 12th with pcm. Application forms are filled out online and offline mode. Reservation as per the government rule. The admission process is very well helpful and staff behavior is so nice.
