UIT, Burdwan review about placement, infrastructure and hostels

The syllabus is good, for CSE you can prepare for gate and placement simultaneously.
We don't have to worry about exams because we can paas the exam even if we go through pyq one night befor exams.

Each semester we have to pay 37,100 college fee and 5400 hostel fees. Hostel fee doesn't include mess charges. We have to pay for food separately. There is scholarship available for only domicile students, which is Swami vivekanand scholarship.

The College Life in Burdwan

Yearly the fees for me is 9100 per semester as I applied for TFW(tution fee waiver) this is for financially weaker students and this eliminates the tution fees. The hostel fees is 5400 per semester and 2000 caution money. My bachmates pay around 37500 per semester regardless of their category. Students here can avail Vivekananda Scholarship if they have the domicile of West Bengal and can get upto 60000 per year if they have a cgpa of more than 6.

Fees here is dynamic in nature , abd can be hiked anytime without any prior notice . Although here semester fees is Rs37100 excluding hostel fees and mess fees. ALso there is fees reduction for Bengali TFW candidates . If you are resident of Bengal then u will get scholarships worth of 60k

Yearly the course fees is Rs74,200 , and if you are like to opt the hostel and facility then it goes Rs10,800 along with Rs3500 mess fees(i.e , around Rs42,000 Yearly). ADMISSION FEE(ONE TIME) - Rs 5000 CAUTION MONEY(ONE TIME REFUNDABLE) - Rs200 CULTURAL & SPORTS FEES (PER SEMESTER) - Rs500 DEVELOPMENT FEES(PER SEMESTER) - Rs5000 LABORATORY FEES (PER SEMESTER) - Rs2000 SEMESTER EXAMINATION&EVALUATION FEE(PER SEMESTER) - Rs1500 STUDENT WELFARE FUND (PER SEMESTER) - Rs100 TUITION FEES (PER SEMESTER) - Rs28000 the above fee structure is applicable at admission time , and there is one time fee component that is payable only at 1st sem , Scholarships are also provided Especially for West Bengal student , There is a scheme in our college "swami vivekanand Scholarship scheme " from this students are getting Rs60K yearly . For BE students the fees structure is ___ In every semester you have to pay 37100/- . But during admission ou have to pay 39100/- *Admission fees(one time) - 5000/- *Caution money(one time refundable) - 2000/- *Tution fees(per semester) - 28000/- *Development fees(per semester) - 5000/- *semester Examination and Evalution fees(per semester) - 1500/- *Labrotary fees(per semester) - 2000/- *Student welfare fees(per semester) - 100/- *Cultural & sports fees(per semester) - 500/- *There are reduction in fees for SC/ST students. Only fees reduction is for TFW students. Only 3 students from each class will get the TFW sponsership and they have to pay 15000/- per semester for tution fees and other fees are same as general students. For hostel__ you have to pay 5400/- per semester Students gets SVMCM scholarship from West Bengal Government which is 60000/-.And SC students get OASIS . No other scholarship is provided from collage.

Navigating through University Institute Of Technology.

Dislikes

The course is quite outdated according to the industry standards. Exams papers can be quite tough and it is not easy to maintain a good cgpa.

Per semester fee is around 37,100 which makes it 74,200 every year. Out of which 28,000 is the tuition fee per semester and the rest is a combination of development fee, lab fee and examination fees. For reservation under EWS, fees is very less compared to regular students. Fee is higher compared to other government colleges in this state as this college offers self financing courses which are not fully funded.

The semester exams conducted as per the academic calendar

Currently I am in 6th semester and when I took admission in this college my semester fees was 32100 excluding hostel fees and now it was increased by 5000 that is now 37100 excluding hostel fees, but It was already mentioned in the fees structure that fees structure might be updated later. The hostel fees is from the starting till date is 5400. The policy of fees hike will be mentioned in the fees structure of the college at the time of admission. And you and apply for the government scholarships, you can also apply for the education loans.

UIT, the college you will never forget.

The fees can be hiked anytime, ours hiked in the second semester don't know why. But the tution fee is you can afford. And if you can't you can get a scholarship from the Bengal government the condition is you have to be the resident of Bengal.
