University College of Engineering, Osmania University Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are average. Due to recession this year(2025) and last year(2024) placements are decreased badly. For internship 6 semester or 5 semester (3rd year) For placements 7 semester Core jobs also have for students of Circuit branches like EEE,BME,Mech, ECE, civil. Majority core branch students go for gate Mtech for higher studies Many cse students go for MS higher studies.

From 7th semester we'll be eligible for the placements in the college and for our department we have GE vernova, L&T, ITC etc coming this year and mostly L&T offers placement for around 15 people from our department and it's of 5.5LPA average every year. My plans are of getting into IT sector.

Since 2 years placements in our college were not good.The average package is around 6 LPA.Only 35% of students were placed in different companies which are related to ECE department like Unistring,Astra,ICS Global

The college had an active placement and training cell . they invite many companies like infosys, Accenture, genpact , Moschip, unistring, Zoicx, Ics global, Tejas networks , Mathworks etc. each companies intake is around 2-8 people it can vary according to companies need. The students are eligible for the college placements from the end of 6th semester . The highest package offered was 18lpa from the company named Gevernova . and the average package is around 5-6lpa . Almost 60% of the students will be getting placed in various fields . After getting degree my plan is to do a job in the core company . many of the students also choose to pursue thier Mtech or going abroad and study.

I like the reputation for this college and the placements they are providing are promising enough that no other college can beat it as well as the professors will put atmost more care on the curriculum and the timetable of the college.

Campus placemats in this college start by the end of 5th semester where variety of companies come and recruit fresh talents from our college. The highest placement for the last batch was 24.5LPA. In CSE branch more than 80 percent of the people are placed every year according to the trend. My plans are to study further after engineering.

From 3rd year onwards students become eligible for campus placement and intership.Many companies like TCS Wipro Microsoft drdo mathwork etc are visiting to give placements.last year highest package is 24 lakhs almost 90% of students are getting placements

Course curriculum is average.thry say that we get practical like real world applications by learning the subject but actually we don't get ..we have 2 mids in our college the mid marks are added at end of the exam

I just know nothing about the placement process because I am still in my fourth semester of my college. Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th year starting semester. Average package is 7 LPA and highest is 24 LPA. In cse 100% students get placed. My plans after getting degree is doing a software job for now.
