I really liked the people in college, I liked their behavior which shows unity. Everyone talks to each other well, which is a very good thing.
In college everyone lives together which is a very good thing, it makes the college look united and it should be so.
The faculty members of the college are very good and very supportive which is very important for a student and the college is also very good academically.

Dislikes

I just did not like the infrastructure of the college. I saw that there is a need for construction at many places in the college so that the students do not face any problem.
It is seen in the college that there is no schedule of any time so that there is no confusion and the students do not have to face any problem.
I feel that the college classes should be bigger. My classes are very small, it should not be like that. The classes should be bigger so that they can accommodate more students.

Placement Experience:

Placement in Kirori Mal College is very good, other course is history based and side course is also based. Right now it is my 1st year so I have not yet made any rounds to any company for placement. Not everyone gets placement, at least not in high percentage. I have not thought much about this topic, so I cannot tell you anything about it right now.

The thing which I most liked was the campus life and exposure of Kmc.Kmc is located in the heart of North campus and very near to kamla nagar, roop nagar and vijay nagar, these are hubs of university students,so it provides good exposure.
The crowd of KMC is by far the best in DU, that' why KMC produces so much famous alumnis.
The faculty of history is by far one of the best in du, Sanjay verma sir, Shahana Bhattacharyya mam, Amit suman sir, these are the gems of the professor. All are masters of their field,verma sir's presentations and shahana Mam's gender history class.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is quite old and needs renovation.
Canteen facility of kmc can also be improved.

Internships Opportunities:

Kmc provides various internship opportunities,it provides you a option to either choose the skill enhancement course or internship programme,after first year . There are internship with niti aayog, with du admission branch and various other companies and institutions.

Reading rommms open till 8:00pm which is very beneficial for self study . .
Library is well equipped with all sorts of books available, librarians are also very humble.
Professors are very helpful, they dedicate their 100 percent in teaching

Dislikes

Lack of Cctv cameras in reading room for the safety purpose.
Lack of proper regulation of the Canteen .
Infrastructure needed renovation work , playground is too small , Auditorium is under construction..

Internships Opportunities:

There are lots of internship opportunities in the college. As a first semester students i have not unlocked too much . I will volunteer in the World Book Fair in Bharat Mandapam organised by NBT Ministry of Education

Likes

The faculty is well trained and help the students out.
The peers are interactive whose interactions are beneficial in gaining knowledge
The collegehax sofiety specifically meant for preparation for UPSC

Dislikes

The infrastructure eventhough jts improving now

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides many internship opportunity. Some I was offered was in collaboration with dufferent governments ministries and NITI AAYOG offerjng good stipend and the ability to learn new skills.

Honest opinion on Kirori mal college

Likes

I really the atmosphere and the environment where I met like minded and friendly students
Teachers are really good and dedicated always willing to help students
The strong alumni network of the college makes it stand out

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure, recently a ceiling collapsed
Unhygienic condition of washrooms and toilet, very dirty
Facilities like air conditioners not available in all classrooms for summer

There are many opportunities for internships that are provided by the college and many societies also help in that However I am not much aware of all that since I am a humanities student and such things mostly concern students from commerce and science courses My focus is only on govt job exams and uspsc

Likes

The exposure we get to the new things like society and it's affairs. We come to know of a totally new things about social life.
The development for our vocational education, and further skills development is best for a student in his character building and life building.
The interactive classes where professors doesn't look at us as some work but treat us as upcoming future which boosts thier enthusiasm in teaching us .

Dislikes

Sometimes due to exposure student may get pressure and tension of many other unnecessary things but if used properly they can be used as one's benefit. But not every child can do so.
Even in skills development and vocational education there are much theoritical parts included which further puts a new kind of memorising pressure on students.

Internships Opportunities:

For internships Kirorimal college holds a annual fair called levitate . In it many companies come like HDFC , ola , cobblestone mill , Zomato , Amazon ,etc. . I am not much aware about this aspect of our college.

Likes

Academic environment is good. It is very peaceful
Extra curriculum is also a good part of the college.
The crowd in the college is also very decent.

Dislikes

Somewhere infrastructure is not that good as expected.
There is very limited sports facilities which I personally disliked.
Proper Gym facilities is also not available which i disliked.

Placement Experience:

Good enough placement are provided by our college with ans annual average package of 8lakhs. Some companies that visit our college for placement is Mothers dairy, Adani, Amazon,etc. My plan after getting degree is to pursue reserach work.

Life at my College: Studies, Socities, and Student life.

Likes

The best thing I liked about my college was that it's fees is very much affordable and also being one of the top college in NIRF ranking.
The next thing is that our college's crowd is very nice as they are very engaging, friendly amd social
The faculty's teaching methods are very good and their teaching methods are very much understandable. Beside that they are friendly and engaging in nature

Dislikes

The quality of our infrastructure is quite poor, as many parts are damaged and broken, in need of urgent repair.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Likes

The societies are quite active , which provides us with new experiences and we get to equip ourselves with multiple skills which will be beneficial to us in the future .
The seniors have been really cooperative , no case of ragging or bullying . Seniors are every ready to assist juniors with their issues and needs , which makes college life easier for freshers and juniors , making college life comfortable.
The exposure is good , be it cultural or academic , we get to meet and interact with people from diverse backgrounds, which gives us new perspectives to life .

Dislikes

Quality of education is below average , the syllabus and study materials feels quite vague , hard to comprehend and sometimes hard to relate to and depletes one’s curiosity to learn .
Infrastructure is quite poor , roofs fall in the classrooms , lacs proper ventilation and air conditioning in relation to the hot Delhi weather , also for disable students , stairs limit their self mobility and they require external support .
Professors never take responsibilities of academics , they leave the syllabus incomplete , never teach in detail , and skips their classes and hardly take classes .

Internships Opportunities:

MLA internships , MP Internships , Principal's office internships are some of the name of internships I have heard or seen in social media , other than those I barely have any knowledge on other internship opportunities, companies involved , their stipend , etc .

Likes

Faculties . The college have the best supportive and knowledge faculties which helps students at every step
Peace . I think my college is little bit politically neutral compared to other colleges of du which provides a safe environment to the students to focus more on academics n personal growth
Societies n activities Kmc have vibrant society culture .socities like sensation , players are very popular. There are different socities which provides exposure to the students in every way possible

Dislikes

Infrastructure the first day I enter the college my biggest disappointment is the infra of our college even after coming on 4th nirf ranking in 2025 the college doesn't have such kind of infrastructure which can make it to stand in top 5 colleges of
Canteen - although the food is decent but the space to sit is very less there could be better spacing for students
Lack of proper auditorium : it's feelike there is not enough space in our college

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus
