There was a Hostel facility inside the college campus with affordable fees, also they provide gym, cricket, tennis, clubs, and many more. There were many buildings for men & women in which 2 persons at a same room.
Nirma University doesn't provide hostel for any of the undergraduate programs till now. So you have to look for a hostel outside the college or else a PG. There are several hostels and PG's in radius of 2Km from college. In hostels and PG's there are single, double, triple and four sharing rooms available as per your requirement. The approximate amount to be paid is 1.2Lacs which includes food, transportation and laundry and your stay there.
Nirma didn't had a hostel facility for students pursuing bachelor's study at the institute. Though there are a couple of good hostels available at distance of around 3 km from the college, with good facilities. The mess food was okay, one can survive on it.
There is no hostel facility for B.tech students, only for the post-graduation they provide. PG's monthly rental here is about 6500 rs per month mess food is awesome, The quality of food is great. Normally Mess food is Punjabi. Canteen is good too, every kind of veg food is available here. Punjabi, Gujarati, Chinese, Fast Food, Momos, Maggi.
I am local here so has not lived in hostel but have friends who were in hostel. Hostel was good. Enough furniture. Good security Fees is 45k/sem approx. Food was average in mess
There is no hostel facility for B.Tech students as of now there are 4 canteens and 2 food courts in the campus all of them provide really delicious food.
Hostel fees was 12000 inr for 6 months but i was coming to college via bus so does not much about rooms but i heard from that they have tv connection and good wifi connection so they have utilise the internet for education purpose canteen was really good and a lunch can only cost around 25 inr.

The campus is full of adventures and colourful events or fest. There is a minimum of one fest per month in the university like club events. And competitions like singing, dancing, debate, stand-up etc. The library is also very big. There are many books in the AC library. Nirma is also known for sports and extra curricular activities. Nirma has many social groups like codeadda, ROBOCON, chesa, MESA, EESA etc
The University conducts a fest on regular basis. Every department also conducts fest at regular intervals of time. The availability of books and journals in the library is very well maintained. The books and reference books can be issued from the library. The classrooms here are very cool with projectors, smart boards, and many more. The Extracurricular activities are going on every week. Many clubs are formed by the students and are arranging many interactive sessions and the involvement of students is also there.
Campus life is one of the best. Small games are conducted almost every month by various clubs. Big events are conducted by University once each sem after 2 months of starting that month. Nirma has 7 libraries and an e-library which makes it the biggest library in the college. The classroom has a projector, ACs, ventilation, wifi, and comfortable chairs to sit on.

My cousin completed his B.Tech from Nirma Institute of Technology who stayed in the community hostel named Saurashtra Kadva Patel Samaj situated in Gandhinagar. However, he had friends from various hostels, and here is his insight about the hostels.
Hiramani: This is the most liberal hostel for students in terms of rules and timings. You can return late at night and can indulge in typical hostelling activities like playing LAN games, watching movies on the laptop, etc, as long as you aren’t disturbing others. However, many students complain about the bad quality of mess food.
SGVP: It is a gurukul of Swaminarayan, thus making it quite religious and strict in terms of rules and decorum. Honestly, if you belong to a religion other than Hinduism then you might feel uncomfortable at times. However, the food quality is one of the best as they provide really healthy and tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. The biggest drawback of this hostel is that there are no doors in the room hence no privacy at all.
Also, check out the following restrictions you have to face if you live in SGVP.
Saurashtra Kadva Patel Samaj: Here, my cousin chose to live for 2 years out of his B.Tech journey. The hostel was neat and clean and fees were just 20000 for a year, however, the food was just satisfactory.
Overall, it is highly recommended for freshers to join SGVP because of cleanliness, great food, and discipline. But, if you have budget constraints, the fees might seem high. Nevertheless, it is worth the fees.
