• The Candidate must have qualified for Class-XII (Science) from a recognised board with a minimum percentage of marks as mentioned by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses.
• Candidates who are appearing for GUJCET or JEE Mains 2025 can apply for admission to the B.Tech Programme.

Institute of Technology Nirma University Ahmedabad M.Tech Admission 2025

Institute of Technology, Nirma University offers M.Tech Program under 10 different specializations covering almost all aspects of Engineering and Technology. The Specialization includes M.Tech in VLSI Design, CSE with specialisation in Information and Network Security, Embedded Systems, Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), Thermal Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

To get Admission in the Institute of Technology, Nirma University is based on the basis of marks scored in the GATE Entrance Exam. After the Admission of GATE applicants, if there is a vacancy remaining, then the same will be filled by the non-GATE applicants based on All India merit.

Eligibilty

M.Tech Regular

1. Candidates must have done graduation in the Engineering and Technology Field from a recognized university with a minimum %age prescribed by AICTE.
2. Candidates who are appearing for the final semester examination will have to provide the degree certificate or result as soon as the result is declared. Candidates can also provide a certificate from the head of the university, assuring that the candidate has appeared for the examination.
3. Candidates whose results are out in CGPA can obtain the certificate of equivalent marks percentage from their concerned university.
4. Candidates from all categories other than the Nirma University have to produce the eligibility certificate from Nirma University at the time of counseling by paying Rs 1000.

M.Tech By Research

1. Candidates must have done graduation in the Engineering and Technology Field from a recognized university with a minimum %age prescribed by AICTE.
2. Candidates who are opting for (M.Tech by Research) should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in R&D within an organisation after graduation.

Selection Process

M.Tech Regular

1. A candidate who appeared as a GATE candidate but did not qualify. They will be considered as a Non-GATE candidate and have to attend the written test.
2. The Syllabus for the Test is the same as that of the GATE Exam. There will be 60 objective-type questions of 1 mark each, and the time limit is 60 minutes.

The Institute of Technology, Nirma University, also offered a Master's of Computer Applications program at the postgraduate level.

To get admission to the Master's in Computer Applications, the following courses shall be met:

• All the Government seats shall be filled on the basis of of merit list prepared by the committee members.
• All the Seats shall be filled by the Management of the respective Educational Institution.

To get admission in MCA, you should appear in the CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test) as prescribed by the AICTE.

Institute of Technology, Nirma University offers a Ph.D program with a specialization in engineering at the Doctoral level.

Admission to ITNU for a Ph.D will be done on the basis of the entrance examination, which will be conducted for the eligible candidates. This was followed by an interview by an expert panel appointed by the University Management. In an interview / Viva-voca is organised by the university in which a candidate is required to discuss their research interest/ area through a presentation before the department of the research committee. The Final merit shall be based on the merit of the interview/ viva-voca.

The Candidates who qualify the UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, SLET/GATE/GPAT with a valid score in terms of cut-off marks and duration, or teacher fellowship holders who have passed the M.Phil Program, will be exempted from appearing in the entrance examination and deemed to be qualified for personal interview.
