A decent college

Placement Experience:

I wanted to continue my masters after my bachelors were done, so I did not sit in the placements. I had to study further so the placement wing is not so well known to me. My batch mates sat for their placements and many of them got internships at different places.

There was no placement cell during that time, I wish we had but the government colleges barely have any functional cell anyways. We did not have any summer training as well but it was not required by our then curriculum too.

There were no placement and internship facilities. The campus should start with placement sessions and training so that students are capable of giving interviews. The students can be employed in various fields like publishing, media and journalism, advertising & marketing, speechwriter, public relations officer, blogger,technical writing, hospitality, content development, etc.

My best College days

Placement Experience:

College placement at time we passed out was quite nice and we were offered good roles in top companies. The companies come at the campus is in the month of January and the process lasts till march, till then most of the students are placed.

There were no placement cell but we were regularly updated about the openings. I was research oriented student and spent most of my time in the lab. However, a regular counseling about our career used to be provided by the staff and HOD.

Sadly the college did not offer any such facilities. Therefore the students had to be self dependent for their jobs. Students found employment opportunities as Office Managers, Project Assistants, business analyst, Executive director, Independent consultant etc.

My college has placement cell society separete. They do some great work in my time. In my time many companies come for placement. If you are good enough. You'll set for 7LPA on average for my course. In my time one 2 girls form economic hons got around 20LPA.
