Sri R. Ponnusamy Naidu College of Education for Women, Virudhunagar was founded by Sri. R.Ponnusamy Naidu. The Institution is running under the Minority Educational Charitable Trust. The institution affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University and recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The Institution is provide full time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course in many specialization only for Woman. The College maintains high standards in all departments whether it is academic, social or extra-curricular.
The college aims to provide a complete, meaningful and relevant education to women so that they are intellectually well-trained, morally upright, socially aware and spiritually inspired.
