Xavier Institute of Management and Research (XIMR) is a prestigious institution located in Mumbai. It was established in the year 2006. It is under the Management wing of St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

Xavier Institute of Management and Research (XIMR) offers a postgraduate level degree program in Management, i,e. Master in Management Studies (MMS). The current intake for the MMS program is 61 seats (60+1 for J&K candidates).

• Candidates seeking admission to the MMS program can apply through CAP counseling by visiting the MHT-CET website.
• The application fee can be paid through online payment mode such as credit/debit card, net banking and cash deposit, and through offline mode such as demand draft.
• MMS candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% minimum marks.
• The admission to the MMS program is offered on the basis of the MHT CET score followed by CAP counseling conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

XIMR offers an MMS program in the field of Management Studies. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to this course is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

XIMR Mumbai MMS Eligibility

• MMS candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying exam as additional eligibility criteria.
• The candidates must possess a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/MHT-CET exams.

XIMR Mumbai MMS Selection Criteria

• The selection of candidates is done on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/MHT-CET score followed by CAP counseling.
• Seats will be allotted as per the CAP counseling.
• Admission will be as per DTE norms. Vacancies, if any, will be displayed on the Institute’s Notice Board and the website.

For the MMS program, the candidates are required to seek admission through CAP counseling. The detailed application process for admission through CAP counseling is as follows:

1. Visit the official portal of the MHT CET.
2. Fill all the relevant information and complete the registration.
3. A confirmation email will be sent to the candidates.
4. Login to the MHT CET website to complete the other applicable formalities.
5. Upload scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature (jpg or jpeg format).
6. The application fee of INR. 1000/- can be paid through the online payment gateway.
7. Save and take the printout of the completed application form and payment acknowledgment slip for future reference.

Note: CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or ATMA qualified candidates are allowed admission through CAP counseling as per DTE, Maharashtra norms.

• SSC, HSC & Graduation Mark sheets
• SSC, HSC & Graduation Pass Certificates
• Transfer/ Leaving Certificate of XII std.
• Score Card of MHT CET / any other recognized CET
• Gap Certificate (if any)
• Caste Certificate (for Reserved Category CAP candidates)    
• Nationality Certificate or Birth Certificate or Passport
• Domicile Certificate
• Passport size photograph

Reservation is available based on norms set by the institute, independent of the central or state government rules. The following table marks the percentage of seats with respect to the categories:
