College life

Likes

They need to encourage sports, in this college they won't encourage sports at atll
The campus has very restrictions, we can't even freely interactions with others
The faculty was very good,they are the main pillars for this institute

Dislikes

The placements also poor, they need to get placements
The infrastructure also not good as that much they don't have proper ground also
It was great experience to study here, hope they have improved some what better than that

Placement Experience:

Placements is very poor we havent get any opportunity from campus side, we get job after my college days , it will be one of the thing it needs to be improved, every college students they will expect placements from their college itself

Vemu our first step for success

Likes

Friendly Environment among the students and faculty
Very well equipped laboratories and good infra. Structure
Amazing and yummy food for the hostelers

Dislikes

A bit away from the City which makes it difficult to go out

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester the students are eligible to participate in the college drives. Many well reputated companies like Wipro,Accenture,TCS ,Tech Mahindra,capgemini,IBM etc. Visits our college for drive . 93% of the students get selected with good packages in the companies basing on their interests

Me and my college experience

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the laboratory, and the Library that is present in the main block.

Dislikes

I disliked the quality of the education that is provided, but it is a challenge to every student, that helps them improve

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible for campus placements. The comapanies visited are Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, and many other companies.the average package is always around 300000 to 400000 per annum. The highest package value yet offered is 1200000 and it was by Capgemini. Almost 90 to 95 percentage of students get placed. My plan is to build an app after degree.

Truth of vemu

Likes

I like college library it has sufficient books to improve knowledge.
The college is maintained clean and neat.
The environment is good and so peaceful.

Dislikes

We can't use mobile phone in the class hours.
No torn jeans allowed in the college should not wear shorts and tshirt in the college.

Placement Experience:

The last year of the course the students are attending to the placement in the college. There is not much companies come to the placement because there are no job for the students nowadays because of Ai. Last year the placement is less but before 2018 to 19 the placements were good.

Life in VEMU

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the college and it is surrounded by lots of plants which keep the surroundings peacefully and we can get good ventilation.
The staff also provide good teaching and clarify each and every student doubts and all the staff are PhD holders and some of them have doctorate and all the staff are well experienced
We have good library with lot of books other then subject knowledge they provide magazines daily newspapers and extra things to gain extra knowledge with helps students so much and we have good labs with wifi connection.

Dislikes

Must maintain proper dress code. Always wanna wear formal dress and shoes.
To go outside of the college we need to take permission from hod and class teacher and they will call the parents to confirm that parents know that there son/daughter going outside.
College is so strict students can't roam around in college in class hours.

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for placements from 4th year itself. There are so many companies that vist our college for the placement. In that some of the companies are TCS ,WIPRO, ACCENTURE, MINDTREE etc.. Every year the students percentage in placements is 90% last year there were 500 students in that 450 students are placed in the companies. My plans after degree is to get good job in the placement itself or the plan B is to do MBA. The average package is 4 lakh and the highest package is 12 lakhs per annum.

I Liked Many Things In Vemu Institute of technology.....especially the architecture, and Quality Of studies ...
I liked the Quality of studies the vemu institute of technology provided

Dislikes

No playground........ It's not sufficient to play all the games
Auditorium is not that much Bigger, it must be Bigger like other colleges
Indoor stadium is not there, It must be there in future

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit, offering various roles. The highest package is around 12 LPA, with an average of 6 LPA. About 80% of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to pursue a career in data analysis.

I liked few Faculty members those who are really friendly and does maintain a good relationship with students
have liked the atmosphere and the way they take care of greenery
They conduct few cultural events which are interactive towards photography and videography once in a year

Dislikes

Less sports hours while compare to first year we have got less sports hours

From 6 th semester They hire people there's not like no offers made Highest is 11 Lpa avg is 4 lpa 75% I think bcoz most of them get placed To do higher education like mca mba etc to get an additional degree

vemu's part in my life

Likes

i like library wich is placed in my college the library is very big and provide good books for students.
i like the funcyion in my college its like festivals

in my college the playground is small thats we are not feel to play comfortablly

from the third yera semester students become eligible for campus placements, for example the companies are accenture,wipro like that and no of offers we got is for now 170 in this highest package is 12 lpa.and the 50 percentage of students getting placements,my plane after getting degree is prepering for groups.
