Likes
- I like the infrastructure of the college and it is surrounded by lots of plants which keep the surroundings peacefully and we can get good ventilation.
- The staff also provide good teaching and clarify each and every student doubts and all the staff are PhD holders and some of them have doctorate and all the staff are well experienced.
- We have good library with lot of books other then subject knowledge they provide magazines daily newspapers and extra things to gain extra knowledge with helps students so much and we have good labs with wifi connection.
Dislikes
- College is so strict students can't roam around in college in class hours.
- To go outside of the college we need to take permission from hod and class teacher and they will call the parents to confirm that parents know that there son/daughter going outside.
- Must maintain proper dress code. Always wanna wear formal dress and shoes.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always have a dream to join the computer science engineering course because I always wanted to be a Software engineer since my childhood. The academic is good as always and prepare students in real world application. To improve I may suggest to improve the practical knowledge then the bookish knowledge. The exams are some time difficult because we are JUNTA papers.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies will provide internship for the students from 3rd year itself. After completion of this internships they provide certificate for the students who have successfully complete the internship. The projects are done in the final year the time duration is almost a 6 months duration. For every internship and projects there will be credits and scores will be given to e student by the faculty. This type and depends upon the student performance in the company or in the internship.
Placement Experience
The placement in college is very good when compared to other colleges. Every year top companies comes to college for the students. Every year 90 to 95 percentage of students get placed from vemu college. The highest package that vemu got is 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is 3.5 lakhs. My plans is to get a job in my college placement itself in a top mnc companies like TCS, WIPRO , Accenture, Infosys etc..
Fees and Financial Aid
If we get rank in EAMCET we can get a free seat in college. The course fee will be paid by the government of Andhra Pradesh. We get rank and seat in vemu institute of technology in chittoor the basic fee for the computer science engineering and for all it is basic course fee is 35000. If we didn't get any rank and join means the fee for every department will be changed the fee depends upon the course you want. For example the fee amount for computer science engineering is above 1 lakh for a year. Other then this the extra fees are transport charges and hostel.
Campus Life
In vemu institute there are mainly 3 fest happens every year. The 1st is the orientation day a day when the 1 year students will enter into the vemu to start there new career with a big dreams. The 2nd fest is traditional day which is celebrated on sankranti, on the day the college management condense various activities to encourage students to participate in various sports activities and distribute the prices. The 3rd fist is known as the annual day which happens every year on April or March. It is the biggest first in vmo institute technology which will continue for 3 days. On the day student perform various things like dancinging and dramas etc
Admission
The main reason to choose this college is in chittoor it is the best college. Moreover my brother also studied in this same college and now he is in a good company with good package. And other reasons is this college is near to me then other. Finally the most important reason is vemu provide good placements then other colleges. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges because I choose vemu as my priority. There is no exam to join the college you can join any course.
Faculty
The staff in college are more than enough the relationship between the staff and good would be great the staff all will be friendly to the students (Not all the staff). I personally like Fathima mam she is from CSE department and other person is Naveen sir he is also one of the best person in vemu he is so friendly to all the students. Everyone likes him.The only person to think about students good 24 hours and encourage them to be successful in there life's.overall there will be one main exam which is semester exam. In one year there will be 2 semester exams. Other then that we should write 2 mid exams in one semester. This mid exams for students internal marks.
