How is B.Tech admission done in VEMU Chittoor?

Admission for the 4-year B.Tech course at VEMU happens mainly through AP EAMCET web counseling process under the Convener (Category A) quota. Seats are allocated to students according to their EAMCET ranks during web counseling. Category B (Management Quota) seats are also available in the college, and students apply directly for them. They are chosen on their EAMCET rank and intermediate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The diploma holders can get lateral entry into 2nd year B.Tech through AP ECET.

Likes

They need to encourage sports, in this college they won't encourage sports at atll
The campus has very restrictions, we can't even freely interactions with others
The faculty was very good,they are the main pillars for this institute

The placements also poor, they need to get placements
The infrastructure also not good as that much they don't have proper ground also
It was great experience to study here, hope they have improved some what better than that

Placements is very poor we havent get any opportunity from campus side, we get job after my college days , it will be one of the thing it needs to be improved, every college students they will expect placements from their college itself

Our college encourages and guides the students to do interships in their area of interests. They tie up with the online internship offering platforms and make us to learn from the platforms. They permit us to do physical internship. Personally I've done my summer internship in a well reputated electronics company which helped me to improve my skills

I haven't experienced internship yet, but I had got to hear from my seniors. They generally do either online or offline. They create basic projects which are later reviewed by the professors that are allocated to that specific individual.

Likes

I like college library it has sufficient books to improve knowledge.
The college is maintained clean and neat.
The environment is good and so peaceful.

Dislikes

We can't use mobile phone in the class hours.
No torn jeans allowed in the college should not wear shorts and tshirt in the college.

Placement Experience:

The last year of the course the students are attending to the placement in the college. There is not much companies come to the placement because there are no job for the students nowadays because of Ai. Last year the placement is less but before 2018 to 19 the placements were good.

Life in VEMU

I like the infrastructure of the college and it is surrounded by lots of plants which keep the surroundings peacefully and we can get good ventilation.
The staff also provide good teaching and clarify each and every student doubts and all the staff are PhD holders and some of them have doctorate and all the staff are well experienced
We have good library with lot of books other then subject knowledge they provide magazines daily newspapers and extra things to gain extra knowledge with helps students so much and we have good labs with wifi connection.

Dislikes

Must maintain proper dress code. Always wanna wear formal dress and shoes.
To go outside of the college we need to take permission from hod and class teacher and they will call the parents to confirm that parents know that there son/daughter going outside.
College is so strict students can't roam around in college in class hours.

Internships Opportunities:

The internships are done in the 3rd and final year. Various companies provide intership for the students some of them are government certificate companies such as ExcelR and skill desire etc.. The intership is done 8 weeks in the 3rd year and in final year it will be 6 months of training. In the final year itself the projects are done by the students and credits for the project will be allocated for every students.

Various companies will provide internship for the students from 3rd year itself. After completion of this internships they provide certificate for the students who have successfully complete the internship. The projects are done in the final year the time duration is almost a 6 months duration. For every internship and projects there will be credits and scores will be given to e student by the faculty. This type and depends upon the student performance in the company or in the internship.

I liked few Faculty members those who are really friendly and does maintain a good relationship with students

Less sports hours while compare to first year we have got less sports hours

i like library wich is placed in my college the library is very big and provide good books for students.

in my college the playground is small thats we are not feel to play comfortablly

from the third yera semester students become eligible for campus placements, for example the companies are accenture,wipro like that and no of offers we got is for now 170 in this highest package is 12 lpa.and the 50 percentage of students getting placements,my plane after getting degree is prepering for groups.

i like more in my campus faculty because their teach and communication friendly to student and support everthing like interview time.

hostel food average i upset more from food only.
their less playing times in my campus, i think 1st year 1 period only going to games

3ard and 4th year students become eligible for campus placement. it will start from 3rd year 2nd semester to finally year. i have visited some comapanies like wipro , Accenture,coapps, ...etc.Upto 3.5 lacs from companies and highest package is 8Lacs upto 60% percentage of students geeting placements after complete my degree take over from my colleges company only.
