Teachers knowledge, experience and skills in teaching
The return on investment is the best here
Course curriculum is similar to IIFT Delhi

Dislikes

Infrastructure is quite poor, no proper projectors in classes
No case study competitions are organised
Girls/Boys ratio is around 7/29, which is quite poor

There are several companies offering summer internship like American express, KPMG , Britannia, Adobe etc. They offer roles such as trainee financial analyst, marketing intern,sales intern , operations intern.

UBS: A memorable Journey

Likes

The faculties at the campus are well experienced and trained also they are very empathic towards students. Also they encourage students to participate in the activites which can help in the CV enhancement
The Social life at the campus was very good and lively as the University was big and many people form many diversities were there.
Placemecent services are very good and the way placement cell manages the placement activites are excellent

Dislikes

Infrastructure is kind of old that needs to be renovated
Internet services in the campus is average

Internships Opportunities:

1. I was working with HDFC Bank as a Business Banking Working Capital Trainee with a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month. 2. My project was studying about the working capital needs in the Delhi NCR and Haryana Region.

Likes

I like the culture of the university where different people of different states meet and work together.
I like the support of the faculty members towards the students of the department. Also, there are lot of opportunities to grow.

Dislikes

I dislike the process system of the university as there so much paperwork to get things done m.

Internships Opportunities:

The students must go under 2 months of summer internship as it is part of the curriculum and companies visiting campus for internship are American Express, Dabur, Adobe and many more with an average stipend of 15000rs with the highest 75000. Also during an internship, students need to do research projects for the company which is part of the curriculum.

Majority of the student enrolled are from the North region of india

Internships Opportunities:

Some of the most prominent companies like Dabur, Adobe, Parle, TATA AIG, and American Express, Volvo are coming on the campus for Intern but You can apply on LinkedIn for live projects and internships

sports acitvities and cultural events are conducted regularily by college

Dislikes

Summer intership program are not very transparent
internal conflict among students during placement and internship process

Internships Opportunities:

generally startups are coming for SIPs and roles are not quite good with either low stipend or no stipend.Students are left with no choice but to join the startup or company . On the other hand Few comanie like AMEX,DABUR,VECV,HDFC ,SBI offers good role at good stipend.

Life at UBS

Likes

Return on investment is really good, the college is pretty affordable.
Social life, students can really enjoy at PU, due to its environment.
Placements, ubs provide good placement which gives a speed entry in corporate.

Dislikes

Infrastructure, the building are pretty old and can be given a makeover.
Practical knowledge, the subjects mainly focuses on theoretical knowledge rather then practical.
Online presence, the department lacks a popularity it deserves.

Placement Experience:

In december of first year the summer internship process starts. The students get chance to work in big companies for 2 months ( may-june) companies like dabur, amexx ( and many more) visits the campis for the SIP drive. In the second year , in month of december the final placement drive takes place where all the second year students are placed, last year average package was 13.72 lakh and highest package was 58.5 lakhs which was offered by trident for HR profile.

Placement record of the college is good and many good companies visit here.
Return on investment is very good which can't be compared with any college in region except du.
Amenities like air-conditioning ,good library are available for students

Dislikes

Politics in selection process for various clubs.
Most companies coming for placement are from sales .

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like dabur , American Express etc have visited college for internship opportunities with stipend around 50k per month along with allowances.Most of the projects are marketing and sales based in these companies.

Return on investment, with very less fees
The final placement provided by the university in good companies
The university life giving good exposure

Dislikes

Only theoretical knowledge with less practical implications
Less case studies and competitions related to business
Infrastructure can be better with proper facilities

Internships Opportunities:

The summer internship opportunites are good. Companies like Adobe Dabur HDFC, visit the campus for internship. The stipend provided is also adequate. The internship process is for 2 months and college takes adequate efforts to get you placed in SIP

We have big companies like Dabur, American Express, Adobe for internship program but the reality is very few get the chances to place in big companies. Other students have to choose very small companies
