Which would be a wise decision for a management course: TAPMI or MISB Bocconi (say, with 30% scholarship)? I’m interested in specializing in Operations.

TAPMI is considered a great place for students who are interested in IT Domain but there are not many companies that specifically come for operations roles. MISB Bocconi on the other hand is a great place for exposure and has a location advantage but it’s still not worth the money one pays for the course. So given a choice between these two colleges, TAPMI would be a better option.

The TAPMI story.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid 411000 for one year at tapmi banglore. There is no segregation for fee structure but they have scholarship plans for students. such as if some one scores above 300 in certain exam you are eligible for scholarship upto 20 percent of your total fees of one year. if you score above 100 in ipmat indore you are tend to be eligible for the 100 percent scholarship plan. The fees for the complete course id 411000 for 4 years that is 16 44000 . excluding the hostel fees and mess fees and misc. exp. its on the higher side but there a depth in the course. and probably the fees will be increasing in upcoming years.

Story of any Bschool

Fees was 15Lakhs per annum, excluding hostel one. With hostel its 17.5 lakhs also 40k should be given to security deposits and 20k for annum fees. These are the mandory fees which every has to pay before starting the course. Ya, they provide scholarship as well on merit of a particular student. And they were totally responsible for individuals placement.

TAPMI in a nutshell

There are banks available that provide student loans. However things got a bit hush-hush at the last moment. So I would suggest to look for loans as early as possible and to keep all doc's ready for the bank.

Without scholarship it can be hard for a economically poor to afford.

The total fees including the hostel is around 25 lakhs and although its a very high amount its justified in the sense that its one the best college in india that offers MBA.The college also has some scholarship opportunities for needy students who has good percentile in CAT.

Experience of getting into TAPMI

I do not have accurate information about the fee hike policy and the cost of study is around 23 lakhs including food and other expenses. I got no scholarships. I have just joined the college so I am yet to get any job or stipend from the college.

the total fee is 21.6 lakhs, including hostel fees Tapmi has tie-ups with banks like SBI, Canera, and UBI. This makes it easy for students to avail of loans. I have not availed of any scholarships as of now.

total fee including the miscellaneous expenses will be around 25 lakh. I haven't availed of any scholarship in my college. Colleges have tie-ups with many banks like cbi, sbi, etc to provide financial assistance.
