What is the total fees of TAPMI for MBA in finance?

TAPMI fees for an MBA in Finance are INR 16 LPA. This is the total tuition fee for two years. Here is the fee structure. Which one to choose between TAPMI PGDM and IMI Delhi PGDM (Banking & Finance)? Give reasons for the choice.

I am certain that if I had been in your place I would have opted for TAPMI PGDM over IMI Delhi PGDM. I even have a friend who recently joined this program and is very happy with her decision so I have more assurance in this regard. TAPMI is well recognized not only in India but abroad as well, especially in the Middle East. I know many colleagues from my last workplace who relocated to the Middle East and other foreign countries after graduating from TAPMI. The infrastructure and campus are very beautiful, unlike the NCR campus which is hot and congested. Delhi is suitable only if you are interested in Sales roles. Else for specialization in Finance and Banking TAPMI is the best choice one can make. Some companies that visited the campus during placements are Deloitte Bajaj CRISIL Fincare HDFC Bank Invesco I think TAPMI is the best option if you are looking for a sales role in a Finance company.

How good is PGDM with Oprations at IMT Ghaziabad or TAPMI?

My friends passed out from IMT Ghaziabad and said that your specialization does not really matter. What matters is the institute. She was in a dilemma about choosing IMT and TAPMI and later went for IMT Ghaziabad and is very proud of her decision. She thinks it has many advantages over TAPMI like IMT Ghaziabad has a better reputation and brand name than TAPMI Most recruiters consider IMT a top B School of the country and give it preference to TAPMI IMT does not instill unnecessary rigor and has a calm relaxed environment. It’s up to you to grab the necessary opportunities and climb the ladder The campus life is usually student driven so it helps in overall personality development The Operations faculty at IMT Ghaziabad is a notch above TAPMI All these points clearly show that IMT Ghaziabad is better than TAPMI.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees was 15Lakhs per annum, excluding hostel one. With hostel its 17.5 lakhs also 40k should be given to security deposits and 20k for annum fees. These are the mandory fees which every has to pay before starting the course. Ya, they provide scholarship as well on merit of a particular student. And they were totally responsible for individuals placement.

TAPMI in a nutshell

There are banks available that provide student loans. However things got a bit hush-hush at the last moment. So I would suggest to look for loans as early as possible and to keep all doc's ready for the bank.

The total fees including the hostel is around 25 lakhs and although its a very high amount its justified in the sense that its one the best college in india that offers MBA.The college also has some scholarship opportunities for needy students who has good percentile in CAT.

Experience of getting into TAPMI

I do not have accurate information about the fee hike policy and the cost of study is around 23 lakhs including food and other expenses. I got no scholarships. I have just joined the college so I am yet to get any job or stipend from the college.

Basic fees here are approximately 16 lakhs however it does not include hostel fees, food, electricity or any other services. It would cost you 22-24 lakhs in total. There are several scholarship programs.

Besides tuition, TAPMI's MBA program cost might include hostel fees (not for day scholars), books, stationery, and personal expenses which might range from INR 5k to 10k per month.
