Ques. What is the total fee for the TAPMI IPM programme?
Ans. The total fee for the five-year TAPMI Integrated Programme in Management is INR 28,90,000. Years 1 to 3 are charged at INR 5,50,000 per year along with INR 40,000 in other charges for Year 1. Years 4 and 5 are charged at INR 6,00,000 per year. Scholarship recipients under the Dr. Ramdas Pai scholarship schemes receive partial or full fee waivers based on merit.
Ques. Which entrance exams are accepted for TAPMI IPM admission?
Ans. TAPMI IPM accepts scores from IPMAT, JIPMAT, JEE Main, SAT, CLAT, and the Manipal Entrance Test. The 2026 IPMAT was held on May 4 with results expected on July 11, 2026. JIPMAT was held on June 7 with results on June 24. Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview and micro-presentation before final selection.
Ques. What degrees does the TAPMI IPM programme award?
Ans. The TAPMI IPM awards two degrees: a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the end of Year 3 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) on completion of all five years. IPM students join the regular TAPMI MBA cohort from Year 4, gaining access to the same placement infrastructure and industry exposure.

Ans. TAPMI’s 2025 MBA batch achieved 100% placements with an average CTC of INR 13.99 LPA and highest CTC of INR 32.02 LPA. IPM students access these placements in Years 4 and 5 alongside the regular MBA batch.
Ques. What scholarships are available for TAPMI IPM students?
Ans. TAPMI offers the Dr. Ramdas Pai UG Freeship with 100% fee exemption to the top-ranked IPM student. The next 2 merit students receive a 20% fee exemption under the Dr. Ramdas Pai UG Scholar scheme. Students with the highest CGPA at the end of Year 1 are eligible for the Dr. Ramdas Pai Scholarship for Achievers with a 20% fee waiver per year.
Ques. What is the intake for the TAPMI IPM programme and how competitive is the selection?
Ans. TAPMI IPM admits only 60 students per batch, making it one of the more competitive integrated management programmes at a private B-school. Selection is based on entrance exam scores from IPMAT, JIPMAT, or MET, academic profile (minimum 60% in Class 10 and 12), and performance in the personal interview and micro-presentation round.
