- The things I like the most is campus life.
- There is no dislike so far, it varies from person to person.
- all the other thing are good it gives a great exposure.
Dislikes
- campus is small but it lets you know many new people.
- classrooms are not very good, ACs are not functioning.
- alll the other things are great and I absolutely love.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good as compared to other colleges of Delhi University onboarding various prominent recruiters with their front end as well as back end. With the highest package offered of 35.6LPA and the average package 7.9LPA.

- Open air campus not at all closed and stuffy. Well-equipped labs and rooms, faculty is approachable as well as qualified.
- Internships offered and internship fair organized for the students by the active internship cell.
- Lots of opportunities to branch out, has a growth potential for students.
Dislikes
- Washrooms could be maintained more properly. More hygiene and cleanliness required.
- Number of classes per week can be reduced to ease the burden on students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I had a deep interest in literature students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:10 which is ideal and enough. The teaching staff is well-versed in their knowledge base and highly experienced. Term exams were on time even if the session started a bit late. A moderate difficulty level was observed in the paper.

- The area of LP and canteen is so good and i love the B block as it includes a shelter where there is so much greenery.
- I love the staff which means teachers they are so frank they make the difficult syllabus easy and are so good.
- Crowd as expected is very cool, i used to hear a lot about the crowd and its actually very good and friendly.
Dislikes
- Canteen food is not that great, pasta is so bad.
- Ac doesn't work which causes so much irritation.
Course Curriculum Overview:
From the very starting I wanted to get into the field of English only and I am so glad that I am here, I am loving this course as it encompasses everything which is required and makes people liberal. The teachers are amazing here and are so friendly. The student ratio is 100 in my course.

Placement Experience:
Semester 5 (I mean a third-year student) is eligible to sit for placements.
As far as my knowledge- consulting, and finance companies visit the campus.
The average placement package is approx 7.9 lpa and campus placements do hold a lot many good opportunities.

- Our professors - They are good , supportive and helpful
- The prestige of being from HANSRAJ COLLEGE as it is a very old college and is considered a famous and institution.
- Our college gave some of the best and very famous and learned alumnis who are practicing in different fields today. different
Dislikes
- Non support to ECA societies , they are not given any practice spot or any financial help from the college , everything is managed by the students itself.
- There is a gaushala constructed by the college inside the campus itself . The relevance of building that is still unclear to me.
- The area outside the college is not kept clean , a prestigious institution like this should worry about how it makes a forst impression to students and people passing by.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I basically chose the combination of History and Economics as I thought its a good humanities mixture. The course is great if you have a thing for both subjects. Economics doesn't include much maths and history if you find it interesting, it certainly is.
The teachers are good except our one professor who never shows up lol. But in all the teachers are great and supportive of the students.

- Exposure, People, library , societies , internship opportunities and getting a chance to visit other emminent institutions.
- Metro facility, DTC bus service, active policing , A chance to meet intellectuals
Dislikes
- Pathetic food and inhumane conditions of PGs, unhygienic localities, dingy cells where students live like birds of poultry farm.
- Unsafe during night, system of contract based exploitation at PGs.
- In the name of seminars or intellectual discussion political agenda is runned. People from specific ideology are invited. Saffronization of college.
Placement Experience:
The placement situation is not satisfactory but most of the students go for higher studies or UPSC. Students become eligible for placement in 2nd year. I wish to become a civil servant. Placement is mostly in Computer Science and Economics honors.

- The library at the college is well maintained and has nearly all the needful books for students
- The students culture at the college is very encouraging and helps us grow as a person
- The experienced faculty is very helpful and help in gaining a lot of insights into the subject

- The curriculum can be better designed with proper consultation from the students community
- The classrooms infrastructure can be better repaired if proper funding is available from the govt and university
Course Curriculum Overview:
Philosophy as a discipline offers a unique way to enhance your understanding and outlook towards the world. It opens up our minds and transforms us into thinking being. Thus, I opted for the course.
The faculty is quite experienced and very humble.
The ratio of faculty to students is optimum as Philosophy Honours is a relatively newer course at Hansraj College. The curriculum too is well designed, though some absurdities do exist.
Examinations do not have a very heavy bearing as the number of papers is at a maximum of 5, thus giving ample time throughout the semester to prepare and develop a good understanding of the subject

- The college library is spacious, clean, and has a huge variety of books to choose from along with a great environment to study.
- The various places to eat in college provide great choices that are pocket friendly as well.
- The vibe of the LP was great along with the famed Wall of Hansraj Alumni.
Dislikes
- The old classes were small and did not have ACs but they are now being renovated.
Placement Experience:
Usually students in the final years become eligible for placements, there are a few cases of second years getting placed as well. There is a dedicated placement cell to handle placements of students. A few companies include Bain & Co., Deloitte, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, ICICI bank etc. The highest package offered last year was 36.5 LPA with the average package being 7.3 LPA. Around 50% of the students get placed as the rest decide to continue with their Masters. I plan to prepare for UPSC examination post my graduation

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.
Here are some of the best things about the institute.
- This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
- The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
- It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
- Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
- Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
- There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
- The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
- North Campus has the best college location.
You will not regret choosing the institute.
