KIAMS Pune PGDM Selection Criteria
- KIAMS Pune selects students for admission to the PGDM course on the basis of the scores secured in the CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT/ATMA/MH CET.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for further admission process including Group Discussion/Extempore and Personal Interview.
- The final selection will include academic performance and an additional mark is given for work experience.

How to Apply for KIAMS Pune?

Ques. How is the scholarship policy at KIAMS, Pune?
Ans. The scholarship is awarded based on the merit described as follows:
- Students having 95 percentile and above in entrance exams are eligible for a concession of Rs. 1,00,000/- in the total course fee.
- Students having 90 to 95 percentile in entrance exams are eligible for a concession of Rs. 60,000/- in the total course fee.
- The concession is applicable for the sixth installment of the fees and will be based on the academic performance during the course.
- Those eligible for 1,00,000/- concession must score 3.50 or more in 3 semester’s GPA/ CGPA, and candidates eligible for 60,000/- concession must score a GPA/ CGPA of 3.20 or more in previous semesters. The candidates must have no disciplinary issues as well.
Ques. How are students selected for the PGDM course at KIAMS, Pune?
Ans. Candidates are selected based on entrance test scores (CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ Maharashtra CET) followed by a Personal Interview (PI).
Apart from this, candidates are shortlisted based on academic record, work experience, extra-curricular achievements, etc.
Ques. If a candidate withdraws admission, will KIAMS Pune refund the fees?
Ans. Yes, the institute refunds the fees paid as per AICTE policy only if the candidate withdraws before the course starts. There will be a deduction of INR 1000 as per AICTE rules. The total fees paid will be refunded to the candidate within 2-4 weeks after requesting the refund.
Ques. What is the eligibility criteria for admission at KIAMS Pune?
Ans.
- The basic eligibility criteria for admission to this program is a graduate degree (10+2+3 OR 10+2+4 pattern) in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks scored in the qualifying exam.
- Students appearing for the final examination can apply for admission.
- Valid Score in CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT/ATMA/MH CET.

- As a PGDM student you should get some freedom this college is more of boarding school you have to follow strict timings and other rules .

I have applied for other colleges also but the fees structure is not upto the mark they have high fees but they don't provide facilities which this college provides . When we look at fees it's actually 1250000 in which hostel and mess fees is also included . We talk about placements this clg is better than the other ones so I choose this college over others

The college accepts CAT scores as base for admissions. Then it conducts group activities and personal interviews. The group activity is there to test decision making, team building and communication skills. We given a lego set and asked to build a tower with certain specifications. The personal interview focused on previous course and gauges the overall personality and fit to the college.

All the entrance exams are accepted in this college. Students how scores more than 60 percentile in any of the entrance exams like mat, xat, cmat, cat, iift gets shortlisted and he had to give one interview if he clear that interview he gets admission in this college. I had given mat in 2018 and scored 77 percentile and applied for this college and got admission. We have to apply for this college online and fill this college form which cost rupees 700.

I have given cmat and scored 65 percentile and then I had applied for this college though online mode and I got shortlisted and then there was one interview with the director of the college and I cracked that and got admission in this college. College accepts all the exams cmat, mat, xat, iift. Usually the cut off of this college is above 60% and the interview questions are also not difficult they are usually based on the study that you have done in your graduation.

Students who found themselves eligible have to give one interview either on Skype or direct interview. After crossing the interview student gets admission. I have given xat and not scored very good marks but they were average so I applied for this college online by filling its form which costed rupees 700. And then I had gone through the same admission process as mentioned above.

The cut-off of this college is not very high is varies between 60 to 70 percentile. Students who cross this cut-off have to give one interview and after crossing the interview they get admission. Interview questions are moderate and simple. I had given a mat and scored 61% and applied for this college and got admission.
