The course I have selected is very nice the teacher of the department is also nice the study what we study in that course is also very nice and good and I think this will guide us for a good future. This also help us to no more about education in our life

As the course ENGLISH Literature-was under Guwahati University it does need some adjustments in including topics which was relevant in todays generation. As most students go for their masters they need topics which was included in master courses so they can be more prepared if they want to persue NET and JRF

I choose my course as a hindi just because I want to be a teacher of Hind .and the subject is not also easy all' subject has its own character Hindi subject is use to all over india is also useful for our daily life .

So i took english and it does help you understand the contemporary drift in the language itself and encompasses various other subjects like history and other related areas . The exams are fine just that there's little active study like arrangement of weekly/ monthly assignments which helps in the long run. There should be more assignments and research homework that needs to be put on the curriculum. Also i think grammar is a thing that's pretty much neglected like anything. If syllabus doesn't contain ' grammar' then i think it is in the duty of the faculty to introduce the things as a side-study which further helps the student in practical life.

Since the uni. board has opted to follow the NEP 2020, the syllabus and the course patterns are very detailly picked for each semester. This education policy also has and lets students to take equal opportunities in learning a subject out of their honours paper, by letting them choose a wide range of common papers that might help in ability enhancement, skill enhancement, multidisciplinary and value added courses. This broadens a students level of expertise too. So its a great way of learning I'd say.

I was influenced to take English as my honours subject as I always loved this subject since school . Though its a bit different what you study in English as school student but I'm learning many new things . Exams are conducted after every six months and a pre test also happens before the final examinations.

I choose the course because I wanted to study finance. In our college, there are highly qualified professors. Most of them had a Ph.D. degree. Exams are conducted as per the instructions of Guwahati University and the exams are easy to pass.

I choose the course because of its various benefits in civil service examinations. In our department, there are three professors for the whole HS and graduation batches, which I considered very poor, and because of the lack number of professors, the classes are not conducted on regular basis. The faculty is however very knowledgeable, humble, and friendly, they teach us in every friendly manner. The term exams occur in every 6 months and it's relatively easy to pass if you study well and also can score good marks as options were given.

I chose this course for developing my skills in space and environmental field. There was 48 seats. Our teachers teach you with daily activities with projector. If you have an any doubt teacher explain us clear. Our HOD Bimal sir. In this there was 2 main exam in every 6 months plus class test.
